I could'nt find the Link for the first one but GT3 is a winner in my books.. they are so well suited to so many cool track's, I think a really good series could be made out of it for sure, They are not too dificult to drive as well so would make it more accessible to the less experienced driver's.

I'm not that savvy when it comes to enduro's but after my first one at manfeild the other sunday I'm a little hooked I must say especially the day night day format was unreal had a heap of fun so would be keen as long as the Mod dosnt have a huge learning curve.

just my 2 cents we tried gt3 cars on sundays previously and they seem to not work.. think they more suited to a tuesday or thursday nite...

but keen for early model sports cars think keeping it in early model era is the go for sundays

Thanks Shano for feedback if people aren't interested all good thats why we put it up now plenty of time to work it out.

I agree with Shano on the GT3 mod... I reckon it'd be perfect for a Tues or Thurs series.
Race format for me would be 10min all in Quali with 1 Hour long race which should include a pitstop at some stage... Just my 2cents

I'm pretty easy the GT3 Mod is pretty Darn good but I have also just started racing TCL and love it. I'm pretty commited to racing most sunday's and a couple of the other canberra guys are keen to start racing sunday's as well they like the look of TCL and the stories I have been telling them. They also love the GT3 Mod and race it alot offline.
what ever happens I'm just keen to race.

As far as the LeMans Special Event could we perhaps lay a challange down to a couple of different Leagues ? May a full 6hr race with a couple of drivers per car if the numbers permit ?

that simracers social hub is down at the moment and not sure if it will be back up
but thats where I found out about a full Bathurst V8Supercars Event that I raced in last year if it came back up maybe we could advertise there ? just a thought..

A couple of other mods that could be good for Sunday (in keeping with a Touring Car theme) , would be the British Super Touring Cars 1998 or the DTM 1995 mod

Just to break up TCL... just another idea

There are plenty of good tracks we have never done in TCL as well. A USA tour would be great in these cars one day

hey benny, sorry to be a pain in the bum but if possible could we move the le mans enduro a week later or something, i'll be overseas from 4/7 and flying back on 23/7.

Haven't tested anything yet cos I'm not at home but to be honest I'd not really be a fan of an hour long race during the week. Just my personal preference though.

What about an old school Touring Car league?
I was thinking The Escort, Alfa (Trans Am version), Porsche, Capri 2.8 and BMW 2002 from the Historix 1.9 Mod?

We had a crack at the Historic Mod It wasn't a big hit but I personally think the wrong cars were chosen when we had a go at it. There are some fantastic cars in that mod.

totally agreed with benny... so many great cars in that mod...

gotta agree with you there benny too. the trans am cars are awesome fun and the escort, capri, porsche's and cars from the 70's are great fun

I remember doing a couple of rounds of Bathurst Legends 1972, wouldn't mind doing a longer series with those cars.

I keep getting join timed out on the GT3 server, but can join the others no worries...?

Hey mozza try reboot modem I had some dramas with that server to appeared to be blocking the ip

i did a lap in each car last nite at symons plains on the historix mod and there are so many out of control cars that are awesome to drive.. cant beat a car that lights up the rears out of every corner lol

I've reset my router 3 times now and still can't get into the GT3 server. Pisses me off. lol.

I'll set it up on my home server after Porsche mozza

Just to clarify – is the GT3 testing for a Sunday night league and the Group C mod is for a one-off endurance race? (On a Sunday as well?).
Tried the GT3 mod on the default settings and I’m pretty impressed with it. The Merc is fairly stable but has a tendency to under steer a little, the Audi is quick but acts like a Porsche through the corners. The GT40 has potential and the Z4 is crap. Hope to do more testing over the weekend.

I reckon you'd like the mclaren growler. Managed a couple of reasonably quick times in it

GT3 Was to float the interest if we run a series on Sunday With it some are interested some aren't

The historic Mod also came up in the conversation and I do now have a server running with it on at bathurst all cars available.

I sold on the mod and the track both are really good

DL the Historic's mod will test, I have raced these B4 and also have a couple of custom skins for the Alpina... I know it's gonna be good...

What's the plan for the sport prototypes? Is it just the one off le mans enduro?

I spent hours yesterday racing offline at different tracks in the Jaguar.
The group c cars are super fun to drive.
If the enduro is the only plan for them, I'd be quite keen to put together a short series for them on Tuesdays, possibly after the ROC series.
I was planning on doing the ILMS LMP1s and LMP2s next but I found the 80s/90s cars are more to my liking. That doesn't mean I wont still do the lmp1s and 2s later.

I have also had trouble with GT3 server... I haven't been able to get in at all yet.

We had the server moved to another computer on Friday which I thought solved the problem

I still cant get in. Tried rebooting modem and computer but no luck.

Hey Bob I'm back having the same drama with the server. I will attempt to set one up on the Home server tonight at some stage

While we try and figure out what's going on with the mod and people having trouble getting into servers and what not, we've taken them off the servers. I believe historicGT is up, as is the Sports Prototypes, AE86, and the usual TCL, PCC, V8.

Nope

With The Historics Server Guys have put mid ohio and Kylami one as well to test some other tracks. I will Leave it up to Sunday Morning at which point I'll switch over to GT3 so we can confirm if these enduros are a goer. Ufortunatelly The GT3 I can't get to run at the same time off the home server. I might be able to look at putting it on the Tuesday server untill Monday and practice DRM at home but have a heap on tonight so difficult to do tonight.
