Can't make it tomorrow night anyway Dano, gotta go away for work again.
I don't mind Wellington in the TCL cars though.

Re: Wellington Street Circuit - Round 7
How'd your night go.
I had a lot of fun bouncing of the wellington walls.
My tyres seemed to get slippery about half way through each race and I wound up having many spins but still enjoyed myself.
I forgot to email myself the results sop I'll have to do the points later or tomorrow. I don't think much has changed since last week.
Final round Calder park next week.

Re: Wellington Street Circuit - Round 7
Was a good fun night... Good turnout aswell.
M1 was a real handful in Quali... Under brakes it was a mess and on powering it was jumping around but i jagged a lap to stick it somehow on pole.
Had some great battles over the 3 races with Corty & Kiwi... Kiwi made it very hard placing his car in all the right places at all the right times. It took a deep breath and a real late braking effort to get him. (Top battle mate, i really enjoyed that one!)
Corty prob had the out n out pace here so it was bad luck to him he maybe didnt get the result he prob should have...
WD all... That was a tough track in these beasts!! Bring on Calder!!

Re: Wellington Street Circuit - Round 7
Yeah that was a sweet, clean hard battle alright groupC! going ot have to watch that replay I think.
Mixed bag for me again it seems.
I really quite enjoyed this track even though I wasn't really on the pace of GroupC and Corty.
Race 1, on the first lap while sitting in 3rd I clipped the right hand barrier on the last corner which spun me around, I was running it back the right way but was too close to the barrier and somehow backed straight up over it into no mans land, thought I was stuck there for rest of the race and would have to get out and start fishing, but I saw the barrier between me and the pitlane so gunned it and jumped into pitlane and was off, managed to claw my way back to 4th then near the end of last lap blasted past Shano & Corty who were sitting on the same corner out of gas! yeeeeeees! thanks for that 2nd place guys lol
Race 2, tucked in behind Shano then he preceded to smash his porker repeatedly into the barriers gifting me the lead, from then on in I had groupC all over my bumper trying to find a way past, but as on most street circuits, its hard to pass if you place your car just in the right place, I thought I might make a break for it when corty caught up to us and started harassing groupC, but I think corty had a moment maybe?? that let the pressure of groupC and back onto me, as groupC said he finally braked late enough on left/right chicane on back of track to get up beside me on the outside so I figured he had worked hard enough for it and gave him the room to run side by side with me and ultimately make the pass. Had a small battle with the rapidly approaching corty after that but he had an off and I secured 2nd.
Race 3, was holding 2nd on lap 2 and shano decided to come hard up inside me and I ended up jumping another barrier! lol made my way out quicker this time and managed to drive back to 4th from there, I think shano was still traumatized by our french interloper hahaha
Also sorry to peter308 who I gave a love tap to at chicane, sorry man wasn't intentional.
While I'm not hating these street circuits I'm definitely not as fast on them as the bigger more flowing tracks.
Dano, are we going to do the actual DRM tracks we talked about after this series, or something else????

Yeah that's the plan, but I went back to check out the tracks here http://www.wspr-racing.com/results/drm/nf_drm_home.html
and the year pages seem to be broken now.
Any idea where I can find the season calendars?

I'm pretty sure I found all the tracks from 80' season on rfactorcentral, not all the actual 80's layouts but same tracks.

That's an awesome little resource, I've barely looked at it yet, I'll have a read later. Some interesting figures in the specifications and stats.
