Its a pretty big DL with the Track pack as well might look at just adding the First 5 tracks on the TTR forum the mod itself isn't too big

It would be nice to see a few people get on board with a more open wheeler style night on Thursdays allowing other night's a bit more flexibility to try new things as well..

Might try and organize a test night soon maybe on a Wednesday or Friday night for an hour or so, laps + quick race with a chat on thoughts on the mod and race format..

Yea Kiwibrick they are fast hardest thing about driving them is the speed you approach the corners at but there's not a car on earth that has as much breaking ability and Grip/Down-force as a F1 car

lol i'm only 10sec off the qually times of the real thing!......

I'm really struggling with getting the braking consistent in these things, 50/50 down to the braking markers being tiny unreadable orange boxes, and my feather weight brake pedal, I need to either mod my current pedals or whip up some of my own, nothing much I can do about the brake markers though.

I find it the same I try to use a reference point on the track but I never hit it LOL I have Load Cell peddles so its not too bad in that regards 10sec within actual qually time is pretty good not sure what times I'm doing I'll check and post later

This, I have design in my head and partially on paper for a set of these derived from some I've seen online, just need to do the other dozen projects first lol

Helps that I know melbourne quite well from running it in DRM and GT3

Might look at Weight and Bonus points too,, Try and keep it close would love to jump on TS with those interested and test + come up with some good Idea's for the series... although still about 5-7 down on the numbers I would like to make it a good series Tell your friends, Spread the word

awesome webber numbers are growing FEZ said he was interested too the other day too that makes around 7 so far good news might try and set up a server and have a test night next week would like to test some different weights to see how it affects handling and times, This ties in really well too as the utes series finishes one week before the F1 season starts

Some of them are frame rate killers.... for me anyway

more than likely I have only tested the first couple of rounds any of the tracks for you in particular that were a problem ??

Ok I have found a new Mod it's based on the 2012 season also their tracks are pretty good too from what I can see I have asked them and they said it would be fine for us too use in a series... I think it's pretty damm good really well polished would love to get some thought's in the progress now of setting up a test server..

The advantage of using their tracks are they are pre loaded with the DRS zones if thats something we would like to use. I would but am having a couple of issues getting it running (Kers seems to be fine) anyone had luck ??

instead of sutils force india from 2011 i'll go the lack lustre schumacher mercedes, i wont be able to make every round but will try to make most of them

There is a server up atm but having a tad bit of trouble getting the tracks up I dont have time tonight but I'll look at it some more tomorrow stand by for more info

got it running at brianza but no drs, how do you get kers to work?

to get Kers working you need to DL and install high voltage addon http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=rF%20HighVoltage%20Kers%20and%20Drs

install it into the rFactor folder there is a readme file with the details of what you need to change in the rFm file,, run HV it load up the mod and track once you have done that you can set the wheel buttons you want to use in the options menu on the high voltage console.. the drs buttons are working (they make a sound) but not sure they actually work you can only use it in race I but I cant seem to stay within 1sec at the right time to activate it to test LOL any help would be greatly appreciated..

i wouldnt bother with drs or kers, theyre quick enough anyway and just add extra weight to bring quicker drivers back to the rest of the pack.

the 2012 mod is quite good. although brianza track gives dick all opportunity to see what theyre really like online. around the clipsal adealide track the bruno senna williams was awesome and was getting 1:04's easilly without setup changes.

how are you finding the rfe series plugin? currently im aptabing that to the v8 unleashed

only just started looking into it now not sure I will use it in the series or not but it seems pretty good and easy to set up (If the tracks support it)
