Re: Porsche GT3 Round 9 - Sandown
Not a bad turn out again last night, well done guys
Jason had the standout pace again here at Sandown, but Stevo managed to snatch pole position in qually & with Jason having a spin in race one, Stevo & I managed to do break from the pack.
I couldn't close the gap to Stevo as he drove a brilliant race, well done !
Finished 2nd.
Race 2, my starts are still terrible in these, just cant find a way to get them off the line
So got another crapola start, a couple of laps in C.D had a spin and I couldn't avoid him (Sorry C.D), ripped my splitter off and almost chucked the towel in lol.
Decided to keep going and had a great battle with Fez for 3rd spot until the end of the race.
I had great straight line speed, but Fez had the corner speed, after quite a few attempts to pass, I managed to get through to finish 3rd.
Onto Winton where is hard on tyres

Re: Porsche GT3 Round 9 - Sandown
Sorry for dropping it in front of you in R2 mate, too much rear brake on and too hard on the stoppers. Thought I had it gathered up but stopped right on-line.
Made two reasonable starts last night, but had two fairly disappointing races, even more so because I felt my setup was actually not too bad for a change. Once I worked out the best way through turns 2 & 3 and then through the quick left hander off the back straight I found I could generate a decent lap time.
Sadly, driver errors cost me big time, but I soldiered on to a finish in each. Apologies to Pyro for dating him in R1 and congrats to the placegetters for a well deserved result.
