Round 3: Sandown Raceway (Round 1: Enduro Cup)

This round is a 65 Lap race, will be interesting to see what strategies get played ?

Well I was extremely lucky to come away with 3rd place. I just loaded my/chris set from eastern Creek and went. My first laps of sandown was qualifying.
I miss read the post and thought it was a 65 minute race and I did my fuel for that. As it turned out it meant I could get away with only 1 stop, albeit running out of fuel just after crossing the line.
Once I realised heezee? Did two stops and me frantically doing the math to work out if I could make it I went for it.
Short shifting every lap, watching the gap. I was lapping atleast 2 seconds slower per lap, sorry chris I didn't know it was you behind me at first. I was busy setting up a splash and dash pit stop if I needed it.
Sorry to Pyro for the hit. When you went wide I saw my opertunity but I understeer and you caught it and we came back together.
I had a fun night, I really like endurance events as anything can happen.

Good job Deano.  I jumped on about 8.30pm or so and watched the race unfolding on LiveRacers.  Disappointed I missed out, I was late getting home from a dentist appointment.

all good, i was a lap down with corty chasing me down at that stage but corty had pace, my race was sorta ruined when i hit the holdsworth wall! car wasn't quite the same after that
