What a finish to the night that was
Well done to Iceman in the 1st race.
2nd race, got a great jump, think I got to 2nd by the 3rd corner ?
Managed to get the lead not long after and tried to run as consistent as I could to get a gap over Stevo, as wasn't sure if he was changing tyres or not ?
Anyway after all the stops were done I was back in the lead, with a good enough lead to not have any pressure to the end.
Last lap I saw the timing back to Iceman and Stevo dropping all of a sudden ?
LOL, was too busy watching the timing and missed the brake marker
Hit the wall, gave it to much gas, spun, stalled it, got it going, stalled it again
Looked like Iceman missed the same brake marker and run straight into me on the grass LOL
Sorry Iceman, I wasn't going anywhere quick as I was waiting for the engine start again.
When you hit me it was enough to get me rolling, drop the clutch and start going again.
Stevo did a Steven Bradbury and passed us both for the win, I came in 2nd with Iceman behind.
Well done Stevo & Bad luck Iceman
Off to Phillip Island

That was a real dafuq? last lap of race 2.....
Realised how much I have been missing my Sunday nights last night - I really enjoyed that track and the racing was fair and heaps of fun. As usual Growler and I had a mega battle.
Qualified really well and hooked up a decent lap to end up 4th, but then took myself out of contention in race 1 when I fired into the bog on the outside of the last corner. Finished 11th, was driving like a madman on the last few laps of that race to try and steal 10th off ChrisRx to get P1 spot for R2, but didn't get there.
I still don't have the pace of the front three or so, but am pretty happy with how last night went, put in a small amount of fuel but didn't change tyres in R2 and ended up a reasonble 4th. I need to work on race strategy a bit more because I always end up behind Iceman at the end of races despite running ahead of him in the early laps.
Bring on PI, even though I'm not a fan of the rfactor version of the circuit.

I had great fun, I was able to dice with Nuty & DV8 for the early laps and really enjoyed that.
Race 2 I started on full tanks and ran to almost empty, I then put in too much and had a 21s pit stop.
