Round 3 @ Baskerville Raceway, (TAS) 22st Feb

Nice little track, should be busy as the last round.
Pity that no one hasn't modded the FJ Holden, this is almost the home of them now...

The corners come up very quick here, especially with the bumps on the track.

A miss judge of the brakes and you in the sand !
You can get out, trick is to use the clutch with low revs, to save the engine.

Hi Guys
I was up till 4am trying to get the Baskerville track to run on my computer. I downloaded it many times and even Chris sent me his copy. All to no avail.
Will spend another few hours this morning then I am giving up. As it is driving me frigggggggenn nuts.

Great news for me bad news for you guys LOL.
I downloaded a fresh GT Legends and uploaded track and all good.
Watch out in your mirrors tonight guys not for me behind you but for me in the Sand Haha

Good stuff, have always preferred the slower HistorX cars.   Enjoyed the challenge of the bumpiness of the track.

Was tough in race 1, some unknown PC problem meant 10-20 FPS, hard to see brake points and needed to run at 90% pace as very tricky to control a slide.

Rebooted and FPS all OK in race 2 - but I hadn't practised with lights so again was hard work.

Much better in race 3, was steady and amazed to be in 4th before pitting and 6th after pit.   Seemed to be running about Dave's pace, let him unlap himself and I was able to hang on.   Engine blew just as timer went 0:00, perhaps overrevving over bumps?

I'm probably out of action in March, but will try to do some of the later rounds.   I enjoy learning new tracks and several are new to me.

Sorry I missed the race, just warn out and knew concentration would have been low and of course that would have been dangerous...

Although the track was very bumpy, I quite liked the layout.
Race 1 I did about 4 laps than the engine went bang!
Race 2 my PC froze about halfway into it.
Race 3 I did a little better. In the first half I did have good pace, and managed to get a good position before I pitted. I turned off damage, but for some reason it still kept me in the pits for over 2 minutes fixing the car. I tried to catch back up top Dave but ran out of time. On the second to last lap I think I clipped the clutch pedal instead of the brake, and the engine went to about 15,000 revs before it exploded!
All good fun though. I may get swamped at Longford on the straights for the next round though...
