Re: Vehicle Skin Painting
Thanks Webber.
I have also made a few Pictorial guides to skinning in our forums.
The tutes I found at RFC were really hard to follow. and made my head hurt.
And BTW Chrome is seriously easy!!!!!
Easier than a window file.

Re: Vehicle Skin Painting
In my 25 years of fitting Windscreens I have done a lot of work for the Sieders family.
Namely Albert Sieders of Sieders Truck Repairs (Windsor) and
All Trans Spares, Bill, Luke, David & Colin Sieders.
After checking out Colins latest paint job for his Bisley Ford I thought it was time to recreate it for V8Factor Unleashed.
Here's his actual car, and even though I am a Holden fan this pic now resides on my Desktop.
The original is HUGE!
Here's what I painted for Rfactor Central
RFC Download link below.

If you're planning on painting and formatting the skin within Photoshop that version might give you problems. I don't think there's a .dds plugin that works properly with it.
My recommendation would be Photoshop CS2. I just recently got it (you can download it for free) and after working out what all the buttons do it's great.
