Hockenhiem 1979

Qualifying
There will be qualifying for the first race. This will be a 10 minute open session.
You will be allowed 4 laps to qualify. Lap 1 to warm up, 2 x flying laps and a cool down lap. If you go over the 4 laps you will be put to the back of the grid.

Race 1
This will be a 25 minute race

Race 2
This will also be a 25 minute race. There is a compulsory pit-stop for this race. You must change two tires only.
The pits will not be open until lap 5.
The top 8 drivers will be reversed.

Weights added for this round
(Based on amount of total points from the previous round)

OR~Worm - 200kgs
ChrisRX - 125kgs
Fez - 105kgs
DV-8 - 30kgs

well that was another debacle. I wasn't planning to make it (another family dinner), so i didn't practice.

I was amazed when i made it, but it was a mad scramble to grid up in time, so i grabbed the wrong car and loaded the Monaco set-up, D'oh! Blew the engine from overrevving after a couple of laps.

Race 2 I had a half reasonable set-up and was heaps quicker, i even had people behind me! That was my downfall. Twice i came up to a tight corner, hit the brakes at my usual braking point and got drilled up the arse by faster guys who brake a lot later.

I got done for speeding when i pitted becasue there's no line to show the start of the pits and i forgot that this car doesn't have a speed limiter, so i came back in next lap, to serve my penalty and then after i returned to the track i realised it was a stop-go penalty, not a drive through, FFS!!!

Amazingly someone else finished behind me, they must have had a dead set shocker!
