Does this help?
Fixed it!
For some reason my default .tdf file in my default rFactor install (Where I keep all of the tracks) had been written over.
I copied the good one from the main PC to the Race PC and it all worked!
You can also get it here:

Re: Round 8 - Dijon 1979 RESCHEDULED (14th August)
Getting same mismatch errors, still have original terrain.tdf from 25/04/2006 in my rF folder, any other ideas?
This happened after I downloaded and installed track from rFCentral after my original GPC79 track was giving me texture loading errors (but used to work OK, used it last year).

Re: Round 8 - Dijon 1979 RESCHEDULED (14th August)
Ok, think I'm out tonight ...
Reinstalled trackpack from Fez's link in Monaco thread (same as Corty's link above, thanks) and now back to texture loading errors. Had these in my previous version of the track (from old 79 mod DL) which were fixed by DL latest v2.5 Dijon from rFactorCentral. But the rFactorCentral version gives tdf mismatches on servers ....
Will go and prac for next week.
To cap it off, had two interent connection drops in the last half hour, son says "didn't you know we were getting drops in the last few days", so I couldn't let you know not to wait for me ...
Lesson learned, next week I'll check I can join server before Sun night.

Tonight's round was cancelled due to too many DQ's when going to race.

Re: Round 8 - Dijon 1979 RESCHEDULED (14th August)
We should do some testing on the other versions of this track and retry it after the Greenwood ?
It would be a shame to put this track on the black list if one of the other versions work properly.
I can throw up another server for testing ?

Re: Round 8 - Dijon 1979 RESCHEDULED (14th August)
OK, I think I know what was going on with this track.
The GP79 trackpack link that Fez put up was v2.5, but I don't think every track was v2.5.
I thinking that Dijon was v2.0, as the dates on the files are older dates, then the actual v2.5 Dijon you can get off rFcentral on its own.
So I set up a test server with the same version track as last Sunday & 10 or so AI's.
Everytime I went to race I was DQ'd !
I then deleted the Dijon folder out of the "GPC79tracks" folder and installed the actual v2.5 and now when I go to race I don't get DQ'd.
So I think it was the trackpack that's confused us all LOL.
What ill do is make our own trackpack with all the tracks with the latest dates and upload it to this website.
In the meantime, here is a link to the v2.5 Dijon that works: → Dijon V2.5 ←
So make sure you delete the Dijon folder before installing this version, just to make sure its a fresh install.

Now if I could actually sort my shit out with the pitstops I might get a decent result in a race 2 one of these days......sigh........lol

The last 2 rounds have been missed opportunities for you kiwibrick !
You were in a winning position a few times, but something has gone wrong.
Sometimes you just need to relax & take a step back to make sure no silly little mistakes are made.
With the pitstops, I make sure I sort it out while on the grid, before the race starts.
Then I check for damage about a lap before I'm going to pit and turn it off.
Good luck, I'm sure a win isn't too far away !
You definitely have the speed in that Capri

Re: Round 8 - Dijon 1979 RESCHEDULED (14th August)
Always the case, get fast near the end of a series haha
I got a stop go in race 2, bit of inattention meant I did 63kmh then didn't realise I had to fiddle with my pitstop settings for a stop go so was getting the full 4 tyres and fuel lol
Don't think I would have been able to quite hold you off but would have hopefully made it hard
