Re: Round 5 - Teretonga (23rd October)
Holy hell is that track bumpy!
Also there is what appears to be a graphical/physical glitch at the start and end of the tiny straight section between turns 4 & 5, you can see through a vertical gap in the pavement and it really kicks the car when you go over it entering and exiting the straight section

That's been there since the track was built. I believe its like that in real life too but I have never raced there...

Great turnout i think last night guys,
cheers for the great battles, should have finished better than i did but i lost concentration a couple of times and missed my brake markers going into turns 1 and 2,
other than that it was a lot of fun and everything i had imagined, so much better than running the v8s on ausfactor many many moons ago
see you lot in a week

Glad you liked it. We do run these quite often, along with Historix, DRM and GT3's

Re: Round 5 - Teretonga (23rd October)
I had a great night, qualified a solid 3rd but threw away reasonable results in both races. Bogged it at the last turn in race 1 and finished 9th, then was running a solid 2nd in R2, lost concentration and bogged it at turn 1 dropping me back to 7th (which ended up 6th when Stevo ran out of fuel). I was fuel saving like crazy from about half distance onwards in R2, but again found the Sierra to be pretty quick and able to maintain reasonable lap times with the short shifting.
Had some ripper racing along the way with Craig in Race 1 and SMT in R2. DV8 again was pressuring me all the way in R2, he just does not make a mistake! Worked hard trying to chase down Growler in both races after my faux pas, but he pipped me both times
Great stuff gents, really enjoyed Teretonga. If we could get 15-20 of us on a Sunday night this would be even more epic.

Re: Round 5 - Teretonga (23rd October)
To be fair I had a half lose that cost me a few seconds. I was hoping that the RS500's ran out of fuel in the long race but that didn't happen.
