Feedback needed

KSR have a server up with the GT3 mod that has just been released.
If you search the server list you should find KSR-GT3 (Or something like that).
There is no password so anyone can join the server.
By joining the server you will automatically download the mod and track (Mid Ohio) so no need to look for it (One of the good things about rF2). The mod is around 900mb and the track not sure.
The cars will need respect until you get some heat into the tires...but they handle well.
Im just gauging interest as this may be a possibility for next year.

hell yeah. plenty of GT mods to pick from, TCL mod, and the DRM bmw mod too to name a few. definately the way to go and with dx11 update early - mid next year its definately the way forward.
ive been playing with the indycars and other mods in rf2 and its great fun.

I will have a look once my install download is done

If I could get rf2 to not crash my computer once i get in the car I could test, funny since I've run rf2 on this rig before, but not on a steam install version, which I am on now

Have you done the "verify integrity of game cache"?

Yeah it's fine, loads up but as soon as I get rolling out of the garage it restarts my computer, tried another graphics intensive game and it did a similar thing, might just have to find the time to get my new rig going I guess

The server is now on Silverstone.

A new update today, and the lifetime subscription option is now gone from Steam. The game is around $40.00, and is going to go on sale in the Steam sale, which is rumored for the 23rd. Historically they've had 40% off, which would make rF2 very cheap.

Note that free transfers only run until January 31st, 2017, and there wont be any further updates to the stand alone version.

rFactor 2 is half price on Steam at the moment... ($20)

Simtek GT3 is good, as well as the Flat 6 Porsche mod

The KSR Server has been reset with a better 2015 version of Bathurst, and an updated version of the GT3 Mod.
You will need to delete the previous mod from rFactor2/Steam and re-download the mod etc.
The best I can manage from the Bentley was a 2.06.8!

its a great mod. we should definatly be doing a lot more rf2 races this yr.

Agreed...and that is my plan now that rF2 is finally being sorted...

holy crap just had a 50lapper at indianapolis in the indycars. awesome but a little boring apart from having multiple big accos to avoid!
theres also a new update in the GT3s for Rf2 that numerous people are working on  and will be out shortly. has the aussie skins etc ready for this years 12hr

What mod? KSR are using the Simtek version

Yeah...that's the mod they are running. It quite awesome as any changes you make to the setup actually does what its supposed to do...
