Found a car yesterday on ebay which is a bargain for the 400m time it does.

VK Wagon with the xu6 supercharged engine teamed with 4sp auto
13.860
all for i think it was around $5000
all he had done to the engine was upped it to 10lb boost extractors and 2.5inch system
claimed the rest was standard. Power to weight is a marvelous thing.

my vy is 16.1s quarter standard with 152 kw
The series 1 VN v6 with 127kw is 15.7 bog standard
FG xr6 for comparison does 15.3, so in a bomby ol vn, probably with extractors/sports exhaust, oversized throttle body, CAI
would no doubt really embarass a new xr6 owner to tears.

imagine this.... a eco tech with the higher hp in a vn with those bolt ons attached, and throw in some roller/rockers.
hmmm maybe something for me to do in the future..

It all comes down to power to weight, all the stuff people want in cars nowadays is really weighing them down..
