Re: Pre Hidden Valley
three quick questions if we start a race on controls then are we aloud to change to sprints
and if we start a race on sprints can we leave them on
and if we start on controls do we have to change all four tyres?

Re: Pre Hidden Valley
Hey Moo
So with the rules with The sprints for this whole series is that you are allowed one set for the night to be used during one of the races of your choice. You can start on them and but when you need to change them you have to go back on to controls. You can also start on controls and switch to sprints during the race at the point you think you can make it home on them or run them middle stint if whatever works for you. Being that it is 36 laps you will not make it on one stop. If you think you can double stint and make one of the stops for fuel only no tyres and keep your original set of sprints on go for it. So in all you are allowed to bolt sprints onto your car once for entire night.

Re: Pre Hidden Valley
I tried a double stint at Winton on one set of sprints.... was not the best decision ever made.
I will not make the same mistake again

I started on enduros... pitted early on to my 1 set of sprints.... pitted later and only took on fuel, so did 80% of the race on one set of sprints.
Which by the way, from my point of view anyway, is not a good option.

Re: Pre Hidden Valley
Well when I'm practicing tonight I will be trying to make the controls last two stints but there is a max life 24 laps but that was with curve hopping so I'd guess that if I stayed of the curves would make a difference?

Re: Pre Hidden Valley
You can bolt as many set of controls as you like it is the sprints that you only have one set of. Time wise the amount of fuel you need to put in there would be enough time to change tyres couldnt see any point in double stinting controls

Re: Pre Hidden Valley
when you come into the pits and get a fresh set of conrtols i tried this and it actually takes longer then just fuel only because it is a 5-7 second difference
