Re: TTR 1970 Australian Sports car Series
I've got family stuff on this Sunday with the long weekend, so probably won't make it (will try though).
Love this mod though so count me in for rounds 2 and 3

I wouldnt mind the switch to these even the gran tourers as a option for people. Happy to help with some testing to help decide on a class's that are competive against each other I miss read your post on the prototype 3000 so had done off line testing with one of the vette's they were pretty loose but less understeer more drivable for me any way. I was planing to sacrifice speed last night for consistency with these. So lesson learnt for the future pays to read the post correctly

Re: TTR 1970 Australian Sports car Series
Was a good race. 20 something seconds between me and shano at the end which suprised me (might of been more?...). Didn't even know I was 2nd until I passed I saw Wally. Those things are HARD to drive! I was nowhere near the pole quali lap time and I was in the same car! More setup time needed for me I thinks. A small adjustment to the rear roll bar and my car was a different beast - one that could turn corners!!! Wish I had done that on my quali setup!
Spun out on lap 2 and hit the barrier which didn't bode well for the rest of the race, but with people struggling I didn't lose much. Body work was damaged, but rest of the car was ok. Didn't need to pit. Was fairly consistent with my race pace which I was really happy with. 1.42-1.43's. Somewhere I passed wally - must of been when you were in the pits I guess. Spun twice more, both in the heavy braking zones. Not enough engine blip on the down shifts so spun the rear tyres. Didn't see another soul for the rest of the race. Still great fun and happy to have completed race distance!! Looking forward to trying the other cars!
