Re: RFACTOR 2 is it???
There are lots of little problems I see in the forum but you can find about 20 seperate threads with massive people confirming in each about FPS.
I am frustrated but it is mainly due to my unfortunate computer issue. If it happen a month ago I just would have built something the same as I have been trying but probably with Kris's Graphics card in it which I'm sure will work more than suitably with in a month. I am fully aware that I bought in early to a Beta which was always going to have some problems and I'm positive they will be all sorted out.

Re: RFACTOR 2 is it???
Build 90 out for download, Havnt tried it yet but will soon.
I have a single 3gb ATI VidCard 16gb RAM and was having major issues with frame rates at build 69, Build 85 made that much better so hopefully Build 90 improves on it again.
as I said in my other post still alittle ways off but its encouraging that the Build's are comming out a little more regular and the game is starting to take shape..
I guess the key for the trasition would be how quickly the modders stop putting their efforts into rF1 mods and update's...
I'm certainly in no rush to move across but now that its getting a bit more stable, Maybe some online testing at some point over the next few months for those that have it ?
as posted earlier Im sure there are plenty that would stay with rf1 but also know of plenty that put rF1 down for awhile to wait for rF2. If other leagues offer it then we should be ready "when that time comes" ?

I can look at setting up a Server at home to give to try. I have it as well had same problems with first version but the 85 Update for me was big improvement. I just need to work out the port forwarding for will have a play over the weekend

Re: RFACTOR 2 is it???
sounds good.. I still havnt put in heaps of hours testing it offline yet but first impressions and fairly good... the in built reel feel is nice and the added visuals on tire wear are quite nice too..
The only issue that still remains for me is that I can not install it to any other drive other than C: (windows) which would be fine but Im running a 60gb SSD Drive for windows and a 2TB for storage/installs as more mods/tracks are released it's not going to be enough.
it seems to be a hit a miss issue for some people only maybe the new build fix's that i'll have to check.

Powerslave, make a symbolic link of the rFactor folder to your storage drive.
Not sure how to do it on Windows, so you'll have to look it up, but that'll solve your problem.
