Re: Post Long Beach
Another enjoyable night in 1979.
I was all over the show with my setup and gear ratios. I had spent the first couple of praccy sessions with the boost on level 1. Once I realised I needed it way higher like 10, my setup was all wrong.
Anyway the highlight of race1 was not getting lapped, although it was very close. I had spun early on and didn't have much to play for after that.
Race 2 I enjoyed much more, I managed to get in front of Kris after he spun. I was holding him up badly but I was so keen on staying in the points that I decided he'd have to find is own way past. That was a good fun battle thanks Kris.
Anyway I wound up 5th which made me very happy.
Monaco is another track that wont suit the Renault but all the races after that should.
Cheers guys.

It was fun, but I'm glad it's over, the only track in the series that i don't already know.
