I should add for this to work with tyres we would have to go back to running the TTR sprint tyre patch which enables upgrades at some tracks. This would also create mismatches if someone doesn't have the patch

Kris there still is no way of telling who is on what tyre it has to be an honesty system

the writing on the tires tells u what ppl have.. white for sprints yellow for hards

also will that patch cause mismatchs on other servers?

Patch is setup to easily switch between original and ours

Tyres only show your colors correctly not everyone elses

better have a full traller load of front bumpers on hand

Did a couple of laps while Kris was having a nap at the track and got into the low 1m 14's but that was with Dijon setup think there is a bit left in setup. Trying to get the car to pull up straight into turn one was hard other than that car felt good.

you can use the tyre plugin feature or something where it takes the LOG file of the results and locates which tyre each person used at each stint.

We use it at a number of our Formula 1 leagues to make sure everybody starts on the compound they qualified on and runs both tyre compounds during the race.

I can chase this up with the admins over there to find out how to do it. If you're interested just drop me a pm i'll try my best to find out how to do this if you want to or not.

but no one knows if anyone bolts on another set of sprints there next stop, this mod was ment to show us but dosnt

with the way fuel costs are here in NZ, me and kiwi are useing 189L in 40 MINS
if we run 75 L tanks all will have to stop twice for fuel anyway so ild be running sprints if we are aloud to bolt on what we want, others that are hard on there tyres, cough mini cough wobbly might run controlls and with there skills keep up or lead anyway

re tyres im gonna be on controls 4 the rest of the season i think if the last race is anything to go by....this new mod is a lot harder on tyres i find than last years version, although under race conditions i dont find im a lot quicker on sprints anyway, we'll see

I'm in guys. I think a 1:10 is capable if you have the right setup.

I'm aiming for a 1:11 on softs and a 1:14 on hards.

75 litre fuel tank you will need to stop for 4 x tyres

Turn one Chicanne Thoses last year will remember the issues here with turn one.

You can use the Pit exit and run over the left and side of the chicanne at any stage during the race or qual, the right hand side of the chicanne is out of bounds. If you go through due to locking up or a mistake make sure time is not gained on car in front by slowing on the run to the next corner and any pass that is made must be reversed

hey ben with that turn1(on the pit exit) how u can cut it well in my other league we puted a tyre buddle there so no one could shortcut......

Putting more tyre bundles in the middle of the main section of chicanne would be great but I have now idea how to do it. With the inside one we decided to enable the line as less people would end up short cutting through the main part of the chicanne and if so it would be less of a gain on other cars

were u talking about the pit lane exit where the yellow line meets with the track?

or where u can easliy lock up and going straight through the chicane?

We are allowing you to use the run down pit lane exit and go over the yellow line for the night. and I realise you guys put the bundle to stop people going down there

But with the Bundles of tyres I would love to be able to put in bundles on the bit you can drive straight through chicanne but not sure how.

I think using the pit lane into turn 1 is a major advantage on people sticking to the racing line through there.

I think it is unfair on those of us that will NOT be using it.

Devil just informed me that FVR finally released the new version of the short track last night real shame it was so late as he informs me it is a lot better.

One version is up atm on the FVR forums.

There is a wet version too but they are waiting on mediafire to sort something out before they put it up for download.
