Series suggestions for next season

So i though of constructing a thread of what series to run next season, no idea how to make a pol but yeh

i was thinkincg historic rally cars, using only the group.. f? the 101kw machines that are 600kg. pretty fun and quick, do 59's around waneroo

place suggestions here!

Soo, people werent keen on the FIA GT3 mod for the next series then?

How about HistorX?

fia gt3 series would thin out after first round... cars arnt exciting to drive and after 1 race ya get over them... to easy to drive so yeah i not keen on gt3.. i think a few others feel the same....

Id Have to agree with Shano and the numbers on the night probably proved that with the last race not even running due to no one left. I did enjoy the mod in practice was unable to make the races and the exciting bit was that I was able to get with a few tenths of drivers like shano pretty quickly but I found they were very easy to drive until it got a little out of shape and then found it impossible to catch.

HistorX gets my vote... Sunday to me is about mixed class racing & that seems to attract the numbers & gives everyone a chance to pick a different car or a car that might suit their driving style better

Isn't there an issue with installing HistorX and needing a purchased copy of some game to run the mod?

If there is a way around this, then the mod looks pretty good.
And if TCL was having a break, then I'd vote for HistorX or the RallyModM

While a change for sundays wouldn't be a bad thing, I'd prefer TCL to all mods though.

I'm not 100% Shayn but I think historx doesn't have that issue with needing another game to install it

The one in our downloads and the one that has an issue with needing to have another game is Historic GT & Touring Cars this is a great mod but You need to download 7-Zip: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html as it needs to be used to extracted Historic GT and Touring cars.exe file and then works fine

ok tracks not sorted yet but cars are, I trust you will really like these as they have the historic nature.

decided to go with the opel gt cars for a mini series in between this and the next series.

i am leaning towards lime park and bathurst


ok for next series it is narrowing down to 2 mods

tcl once again or bat legs 72

so i am gonna add a 5 day poll

whichever mod wins it will be a on tour series(one track from each region on rfactor central with key regular drivers and admin picking a track.
so will these people please select a track and reply here, first in first dressed to what region/track you pick.

OK, initially I thought Transfagarasan which is the track Top Gear found to be the best driving road in Europe. It would have been really fun like the old Need For Speed as a point to point race.

However if that's a bit long, then so will be Nuerburgring Nordschleife.

So I will swap to the other side of the world to a track I don't believe we've raced on before, but is very nice.

is hard to choose from aus tracks i think we nailed most of em lol.....

but done 600 million laps in 1991 f1 hisoric at this track so i go for it lol... would be close in tcl bangers...

when dragfactor finally gets released hope we can have a nite of that too....

Ok got a track that could be considered for the Fantasy slot.
Dunno if you guys have run it, but its HOF, so im sure you know it.

Livet Glen 2.10

Its got about 8 different layouts. From a small sprint track to the longer Gp version.
I think the Renault version is the best suited for TCL or BL.
Feels similar to Oran Park.

My 2cents, i know i've already voted but if we got Kyalami maybe the one they used for the South African GP in 93 would be a good change...

Killarney & East London are in there too, and the (sort of) current WTCC circuit in Marrakech

fun weeks
then historics, building up the series until then

Like the sound of this Historics series Wally... count me in for that!!

i'm keen as mustard for the historix too but i needed gt legends to install it. i have a copy of gtl but not sure about other people.

I can help anyone sort this problem without using gtl but will do via pm when requested
