Pukekohe is widely recognised as one of the old school circuits that is very fast and requires a strong engine to make the most of the long back straight. But two out of the six corners (Castrol and the hairpin) are slow which means that you need to be able to quickly switch driving styles from the fast to slow corners. The circuit's fast open nature has produced some of the best and closest on track battles in NZ motorsport.

Did a few laps Last night dialing and working on setup still haven't got down to my last years pace but best time so 58.061. Last year according to the Archive forums I had managed 57.4

So far I feel that I am doing better times than last year, but can't find my times from last year anyway...
Still not at Benny's 57.4 from last year, but close

58.4 this morning 1 second off.......
