Awesome. I'll give you a run for your money without idiots cutting the leaders off over the top of the mountain.

I'm in. never saw this post for some reason lol.

I was going to suggest a point system that rewards the 'winner' and penalizes the losers. And average for the rest Smile I don't want to look up myself lol but just an opinion Smile

I chose this points system to try to keep it close and keep people interested but, if you want me to run away with the series i can change it.

Only just noticed this but yeah I'm in.

I have a couple of suggestions for the open wheeler mod.

1.f1 71s they are cool to drive although definitely not easy and there a few kiwi and aussie drivers and cars to choose from.
e.g. Brabham car and driver, mclaren car, chris amon, denny hulme, howden ganley, tim schenkin.

2. f1sr 1991 historic edition
this is pretty new but totally awesome.

Had a bit of a look at the f1sr 1991 historic edition mod and started downloading today as it interests me the other one is F1 2010 by WCP series for rFactor which I think mini was looking at (not 100%)

Both of these are a pretty big download for a one of race at this stage. Once the mod is decided I am happy to download and Supply a DVD for everyone that doesn't want to download 500 - 1000meg of download for one race so we can all run this series.

It's worth it if you're into this historic stuff Benny but yeah maybe not for a one off race.

F171 is 350 meg.

But for 91's there are quite a few public servers going.
http://fcmgmods.com/ These guys run a server and just have fun nights. Only trouble is they are US based so you only really catch them on the weekends.

I've already got WCP 2010 downloaded but not installed yet.

Yeh 350 meg is OK but yeh we really don't want to have to download a 1 gig mod as a 1 off event. We need to make a decision soon as people will want a chance to learn the mod especially if they are not use to open wheelers.

I have the 1971 but not a fan of that one. I'm not keen to have a massive download for a one off event but saying that I would rather have a good mod and send every member a DVD that would find it difficult to download. I have enough download free every month for this not to be problem at the moment, although my 6 year old did tell me yesterday that I need to set up google on her PC so she can look stuff up so I guess my download limit is going to head out of my control over the next few years.

To do this we really need Mini if your out there to let me know what mod so I can download tonight and get DVD made and get it in the mail tomorrow for people to have Tuesday Australia probably Friday NZ. This way people have a chance to learn the mod before the race.

Sorry M1N1K0B3 was the only video I could find, I know your not a fan of the Vodafone team but I thought using one of these slower cars it would give everyone a chance to see the track and braking markers being that it is like being in slow motion compared to the good cars affraid
