Love driving F1s. Old school ones even more so.

Wd GrpC for volunteering your services. I'm not huge on running nights but ill do it if no one else comes forward. Smile

Weekends are getting harder for me to get to, so open wheeler tuesday sounds great!! Lol

Great idea Shano!

If for some reason the F1 1991 won't work, how about Indycar (CART) from 1995 or 1998? Huge power, turbos, best looking open wheelers of all time IMO, good downforce through ground effects, great racing.

I enjoy the switching around with a range of mods on Tuesdays have no problem with open wheelers but personally I wouldn't want to do it every Tuesday series. If you guys think you can build a open wheeler night on going I'd be happy to look at a way of making something work but would probably have to look at something with Either Thursday's or Tuesday's to make it cater for everyone

nah F1 is a great idea, should do that first, can save the indycars for a later series

if we test the F1 and something doesn't work, then there's a backup

edit - and yeah benny agree can't dedicate tuesday to open wheelers all the time, but what do you reckon about a once off series?

Yer maybe it doesn't have to be every series lol. Got a bit carried away there.

I wouldn't complain but I don't think everyone would be a fan.

Heaps excited about a 91 F1 series though.

Never been a fan of F1 mods, but thats probably more cos I can't drive 'em for shite. On the server at the moment... Is it wrong that I'm punting Alesi's #28 Ferrari like Phil Wards #19 ATCC Merc 190E? LOL

I can see how this would be fun though, just I wont be fast lol. Sound and look the goods too...

Just have to practice man. Its awesome when you can keep going round and round without even thinking about it after a while.

Love these cars, Shano mentioned em to me a while back and since then I loved them.
The current season F1 mods are great too. I usually do heaps of laps right before the real race weekend is shown on TV.

We'd have to use some older style F1 tracks though yeah? For realism??

I'd love to use track that you'd never see an F1 car on sorta tracks... Something like Snetterton (BTCC), Watkins Glen, Limerock, Pukekohe etc etc... Different :-P

Good ideas Benny, Spa would be awesomes. A version of Monaco must be used.

The only australian track should be Albert Park, or the real Adelaide track they used if that exists.

Focus people.

The original Adelaide we use to use before the 2011 version should be correct I think.

I think maybe melbourne and adelaide, tracks people know will also help to come grips with the cars quicker and make the nights a little easier

Re monaco it was pretty messy with the 79 GP cars Love the track but tuff track to compete in these on.

well I can tell you all the tracks back from the 91' season

For the series, if there is one ***

USA (Phoenix street circuit)
***Brazil (sao paulo, interlagos)
***San Marino (Imola) -
***Monaco (monaco...lol)
Canada (montreal)
Mexico (mexico city)
***France (Magny course)
***United Kingdom (silverstone, awesome track)
Germany (Hockenheim, long version)
Hungary (hungaroring?)
***Belgium (Spa...)
***Italy (monza..)
Portugal (Autodromo do estoril...?)
***Spain (Catalunya)
Japan (Suzuka)
***Australia (Adelaide old version)

A series similiar to the V8 season would be good, but that would depend on how many numbers you would get....every couple of weeks there would be a series race, which gives people that tuesday off, instead of every tuesday a race being held.

Australia (Adelaide old version)
Japan (Suzuka)
Canada (montreal)
Brazil (sao paulo, interlagos)
Italy (monza..)
United Kingdom (silverstone, awesome track)

they would be my picks.. but also Istanbull, Jerez, Spa, Imola & Malaysia all would suite as well, depending on how many rounds.
oh and also living in the ACT a special vote for Canberra... HAHAHA

Have done a few laps on the server and they are a blast, Def make for some interesting racing..

one more thing, when im sitting in the pits i have resistance in the wheel.

but as soon as i take off down the road the wheel is just turning free, but still have rumble when i got on the kurbs etc.

i have the realfeel.dll installed, not sure whats going on.

do these cars have strong ffb when driving or is the steering supposed to be light?

When you're in the pits, go to settings, force feedback or something... I think you need to change force feedback strength. In my case I go from 100% to -100%... Or vice versa.. basically the -ve number of what you have now...
