Testing Help Required
Hey Guys We need some help in testing some tyre wear options and how over a fuel run it effects times for upcoming series.
There is a server setup Bathurst 2006 it is setup as night mode just to make it a little more interesting.
The Server is also setup for V8 supercars and TCL ATCC and Bathurst vehicles. As long as it doesn't roll over to race the cars are capable of running together even if you don't have the other mod loaded.
The server is listed as ttrracing.com - Test under all Vehicles
TCL guys vehicles need tested
Skyline
TWR VL
VL - VK
Merc
BMW M3
Sierra
Volvo
any others that I have missed would be appreciated but the list above will give us the information we require,
V8 Testing
Anyone in V8 supercar you need to start your run with 75 litres of Fuel only not 120litres
I need people to do a full fuel run complete stop refuel change tyres and complete the next lap. Once complete if you let me know which vehicle you had and each individual lap time including the lap you pitted and the lap afterwards (would prefer you make sure no damage is repaired in the stop). The tyres are set x4 wear so you are going to need hards but a description on what the tyres were like at the end of the stint did they even make the distance of fuel you had on board etc.
Take into account when heading out the tyre wear is high so make sure you pace your self so they make the distance
Thanks
Ben and Webber

Re: Testing Help Required
Nice post Benny.
The aim is to make it even between V8 and Sierras/Commos, but with the tyre wear, it would be fantastic if that brings M3, Merc, Skyrine etc. into play.
Might need to push the tyres even farther to 5x.
Hopefully no need for weight penalties since they affect car handling a little.
And if we get it right, we should do some massive cross-promotion not only amongst ourselves, but other groups, since I think it could be a very popular race!!

Re: Testing Help Required
Bugger forgot to write down times before exiting game...
pretty sure it went something like this....
1
2 2.14
3 2.13
4 2.17
6 2.14
7 2.15 - Pit
8
RF tyre was pretty shot by the time I pitted but because I was trying to conserve tyres in the earlier laps it didn't make much difference to the time...
