was a bit off the pace here but still had an awesome nights racing. qualified 5th with a 41.8 behind the sierras and grpc in a nitro powered m3

r1 - started well but couldn't keep with the sierras and moz who was flying in that merc. had a awesome battle with grpc the hole race. could pull away down the front straight but through the twisty stuff he was all over me. by the last few laps my tyres were knackered and was really struggling to keep grpc behind and on the last lap he got through at mg. luckily the commo had the legs down the straight and was able to get by just. finished 5th

r2 - spewing grpc couldn't make this one was looking forward to another race with the beemer. could keep pace with the sierra boys in this one, they must of been in tyre of fuel saver mode. had a cracker of a battle with shano the hole race. i never got passed but was glued to his bumper the hole race. got along side shano a few times towards the end but was always on the wrong side off the track. finished 5th again, oops make that 6th

congrats to corty and webber for the race wins and to moz for giving the sierras a hard time cheers

I struggled big time just couldn't get the car to work well around here. Both races were fairly uneventful. I will most likely miss the next 4 or 5 Sundays. I expect to be fairly busy over that period so I'm trying to free up some time.

Had a good nights racing.

I'm not too big a fan of this track, have just never been able to get comfortable. In race 1 i got a steady start and and worked my up the order. Had a great dice with Moz for a number of laps before i got clear and started chasing Corty. I managed to keep my tyres in good order and was closing towards the end, but just failed to get by.

Race 2 i had a shocker, followed Corty off at the hairpin on lap 1, and then ran off again at turn 1. I had a good little dice with the two Skylines of DV8 and jorge, then got into a good battle with Shano and Bersly. After that i started closing on Moz but i couldn't keep the tyres intact (plus Moz was too fast!) and i came home in 4th.

Looking forward to NZTCC next Sunday, and the next round of this series (is it Darwin?)

Massively shocked to be reasonably close to the race pace of the bigger cars here.

GroupC put in a stonking quali time that I was never gonna get close to, let alone match. Started 7th or so...

Race 1 - Managed to get a reasonable start and got past a few cars at the start, and into 3rd or 4th by the end of L1. From there it was a matter of pushing the sierras hard, and when they tried to get past, making life as difficult as possible so they used their tyres up more. Ended 3rd, happy with it, yet disappointed I wasn't higer up.

Race 2 - Another good start, reckon I even led the field over the line afte Lap1, but then Webber and Corty blasted past. Could kinda keep 'em in view, but couldn't do much else. Was a fairly lonely race in the end...

Good times. Thanks to shayn for parking up his Skyline. I pinched the GTS-R turbo and had it high flowed at the local merc dealer Very Happy
