Results are up guys

Championship Standings
Shano 243
Racer69 242
Berlsy 227

I think we all had a good night great track drove the wheels off the Merc Trying to keep Billy Bob honest but the 10klms down the straight eventually made it to difficult to pressure him anymore. Got lucky with corty getting a puncher late in the race and I brought the little merc home in 3rd place.

Race 2

Not as good made bad tyre choice n struggledlast 5 laps

Had a ball hoping to make a few more rounds this year

A great turnout last night considering its a long weekend;

Race 1 - I got pole just from Corty, but at the start of race 1 Corty got the jump on me and led at turn 1. We were very evenly matched and the gap was around 1 second for the first half of the race, with me unable to get much closer but Corty not able to pull away. Around half distance Corty unfortunatly had a spin which gave me the lead while Corty got a puncture, so i was able to cruise home for the win.

Race 2 - From pole i got a good start and was going along pretty nicely. Corty had worked his way up from the rear of the grid at the start to 2nd place, and the gap was steady at about 5secs. Just after mid-race i made a mistake into turn 4 after clipping the kerb and i ran wide which allowed Corty onto my bumper. We had a great dice for a number of laps, Corty all over me and then he made a pass at Turn 1, but i was able to get him back at turn 4. The next lap Corty again got past me at turn 1, and i almost got him back at turn 4. We stayed close for a few laps but then my tyres were gone and i started to fade, Corty eventually winning by 5secs... so it all equalled out in the end and Corty's victory was fully earned whether i went off or not.

Looking forward to the next one Smile

Was a good nights racing.

Race 1
I bogged down at the start and lost a few places. On the 2nd or 3rd lap I was racing against Dave? And we came together. I wasn’t sure if I hit him or he hit me but I waited for him none-the-less.
Got back into it and managed to get back into 3rd or 4th to finish the race

Race 2
I had an awesome start where the Rover just took off without too much wheel spin, and managed to get into 2nd place by the first corner.
I held off one of the Sierras for one lap before it passed me down the front straight. I held 3rd for some time until I went into the pits.
For some reason I thought the race was double that of the first race so set my fuel strategy to reflect that.
The first time I went into the pits I checked how many laps left and then realised my mistake. Coming out of the pits I was done for speeding so had to do a drive through which put me second to last. Managed to get back to 5th – 6th from memory.
