"Hamilton Street Circuit, New Zealand"
Hamilton Street Circuit is 3.4 km long runs in a clockwise direction around the Frankton business district with the pit lane and main straight located on Mill Street. The circuit also goes alongside the Seddon Park and the Waikato Stadium. It is generally a narrow race track with armco and concrete lined sides but it can be fast and flowing. There are plenty of passing opportunities and those who quickly dial into the contained style of street racing have the most success. The circuit is not very forgiving if the driver get off the racing line because it is surrounded by the aforementioned fences and concrete barriers.
Official Qualification 730pm-8pm
8pm Race One 15min, Quallifying Race
10min Warmup
Race Two, 8:30pm Championship race 45min

If everyone can be on teamspeak by 7:15 please for driver breifing

Re: RD1 Hamilton, New Zealand
Got into some early test laps last night with Kiwi, Found some really good pace into the 22's and a VT into the 21's the tires tend to perform better after 2-3 laps.
love this track if you get into a groove with the flow feels amazing

Re: RD1 Hamilton, New Zealand
Hey guys. Hoping someone has the answer for me. I've downloaded the PCC mod as I'm keen as to race in the Porsches. However I am missing the engine sound effects and have no idea where to look to fix it. I know it might be a long shot but was hoping someone had a quick fix ie someone else has had this problem. If not I'll have to learn how to fix it myself. Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say! Thanks in advance. scott39 =)

Hi Scott... if it is the PCC 05 apparently it has sound problems. The 07 one from our downloads works ok...

Re: RD1 Hamilton, New Zealand
Just a heads up - I get a mismatch when I enter the server.
When I ran this mod elsewhere, most people got mismatches, but the server was set to allow mismatches, and therefore not kick people from the race...
Just a thought?

Yeah I get a mismatch on the car too Mozza. And the download was 2010 but shows up in game as 2007? Got me a bit stumped. I only run one install for everything so I thought that might be it? Who knows 'cos I don't lol.mozza wrote:Just a heads up - I get a mismatch when I enter the server.

Re: RD1 Hamilton, New Zealand
Guys..
I have tried all the vehicles in the SPA 24 Hr 2011 section with no mis-matches.
1. Have you got the right mod (scott) FIA 2010 GT3 and not PCC?
2. Maybe try one of the allowable vehicles (mozza) as only the SPA 24hr 2011 ones are allowed on the server..
Mod Download - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
"Car Selections From the SPA 24H 2011 List"
Ignore all this if you have tried it and it hasn't worked.

Re: RD1 Hamilton, New Zealand
Sorted this time I think. For some reason my winzip didn't unpack the files properly. So I manually copied everything and the mod showed up. Definately had the wrong one before. Drama over....=)

Re: RD1 Hamilton, New Zealand
I can't promise but I will try and make tonight.
I have done no car selection or practise, and have never run at Hamilton before. If I make it I will start at the back and run for no points so as to not stuff anyone race.

Hope to see ya there Growler. I haven't managed to string together more than 10 laps without damaging the car so you'll be in good company down the back probably...=)Growler wrote:I can't promise but I will try and make tonight.

Re: RD1 Hamilton, New Zealand
Lol Scott. One thing I've found with these things is to brake early and go back through the gears almost casually. Dont bang it through 'em hard, just take ya time and do everything almost in slow motion. For me, the more aggressive I drive 'em, the slower and slower I go.

Growler,, Rego for points mate if you can, Im sure there will be others at the back too and I know for a fact your a good enough driver to pick it up pretty quick dont want to end up doing well and then rego, also its make's for interesting calculations as the series progresses
Mozza nailed it, Cant brake or downshift too agressivly.. Ive found the car needs to be really settled to get on the brakes but you can hit the throttle pretty early
Just over an hour to go
