TCL WTCC 1987 Wellington 500 - french league
Hey all,
http://historicsimracing.ace.st/t1885-1987-wellington-500-kms-december-2nd
Corty and I took it to this french league at a full length Bathurst early last Monday morning in Sierras. They are extremely competitive, as fast as TTR=JD for those who know him. I narrowly got pole, and we led for the majority of the race, Corty pulling an epic stint to reclaim 1st after a glitch during changeover.
Unfortunately with continual pitlane glitches, and too much body work damage to be competitive -- my fault , we ended up finishing 3rd.
On Monday December 3rd starting at about 1 or 2 am, there's the Wellington 500 in the TCL 1.1 cars we know and love. Thought I'd let TTR know since we have a lot of love for the track and cars, even if it's at a bad time.
Only the cars which actually ran the race are allowed... Sign-ups are quite limited and I recommend getting in within the next few hours if you want a BMW or Sierra - think only 2 or 3 sierras left. It's a 2-driver event with maximum of 100 laps for one driver, but do the sign up first and sort out co-drivers later.
One more thing, you have to sign up with your real name (or a real sounding one )
