NAGT 1.6 Fun Races

Now that we have finished the current DRM league I was thinking of having some fun races using the NAGT mod.
Apparently the last time you used this mod the comments wern't favoarable but I believe this could have been due to track selection.
Benny has kindly put up a server with version 1.6.1 (This an updated version of the one you tried previoiusly, which hasn't officially been released).
The server is set up with Mid Ohio but may look at adding a couple of other tracks.

UPDATE!
The server has been updated with new RX-8 sounds and .ini.
Download from the Tuesday Mod Downloads

(You will need the mod version 1.6.1 and RX-8 sounds to join the server or you will get a mismatch).

OK...The fun races will kick off tomorrow night starting around 7.30 Aussie time.
Races will consit of 5 lap races and we will roll over until people get sick of it.
Random Grids. I might get Benny to put Bathurst on there as well.

Can we please have the tyre wear set to 1x instead of 2x if this hasn't been requested already.
Also Bathurst sounds really good.

these cars are awesome around bathurst! especially the rx8! good to see some drivers making some good progress with some setups last night. a 20 lapper would be awesome around there in these.

Bugger, I better chuck the ovlov around bathurst a few times before races tonight then, only done mid ohio so far, lol better install bathurst too!

This was good fun. The GTO sounds awesome. It's a bit of a challenge though, if you start getting out of shape you end heating the tyres up way too much.

What track or tracks have you got in mind for next week Growler?

Yeah…you do have to be pretty smooth in these as it doesn’t take much to heat them up.
Bathurst was good but it did favour the faster cars (Although having a Volvo and buzzy RX-8 up your bum over the top didn’t help!).
We didn’t race at Mid-Ohio but if there is another track you prefer I can get Benny to put it up.
If there is enough interest I can look at organising a league for Tuesday night using American tracks.

Was a bit of fun, not the best track for the Volvo though lol, and damn those RX's are loud.

Yeah Mid Ohio sounds good. Also a league on American tracks sound good to me.

Don't forget - more fun races tonight at Bathurst and Mid Ohio.
This is designed to have some fun races while trying out the different cars.

Good racing last nite, had some great dices with kiwibrick and growler. I thought more would be racing... seemed to be plenty of times up on live racers.

I finally get a chance to race on a Tuesday and i stuffed up the time and didn't have the track . I just got on when the last race was over

I've pm'd Growler about that idea for Daytona.

But that doesn't necessarily mean we'll be running that track next week. If we're going to run an enduro there, it would make sense to save it till we've got some kind of series going.

Hi Guys...I'm back!
One track I have run based on an oval is Orchid Lake.
This track was done by ISI so the quality is good.
