Love the kink just after the start/finish line. You can go through there full speed with a little bit of drift on before you have to brake...

Re: Round 9 Pre Sugo 31st March 2013
Sugo this Sunday for a pair of races. It is a quick track, but the long corners could hurt the tyres over a race distance
Here is some Group A action from Sugo

Great little track, I had never seen it an hour ago and now I love it.
Reasonably happy with my set-up and down to a 55s lap.

Points are fully up to date on SLS
Great nights racing, fantastic turnout and some competitive action going on it looked like.
I was quick but couldn't get the tyres to hang together for a full distance and i made a few mistakes once the grip was lost.
Great stuff though and roll on Suzuka next Sunday.

FIRST RACE
chose medium tyres first race with a lower fuel load and was able to keep up with leaders that were running heavy until a few errors on my behalf sent be back down the order. did my fuel stop and kept tyres and ended up in 10th. had way too much fuel on board and the tyres were skatey. some good close racing up the front which was awesome.
SECOND RACE
got a good start off the line and led into the first corner. Racer and myslef both had some off track time at the back of the track but managed to regather. Webber had a blinder off the line with some 7 wide action off the line and shot past on the main straight heading first the 2nd lap. had some good battles with deano and benny and racer. good to see david patterson and sticking with me for a few laps in the sierra, starting to get a bit of pace.

Re: Round 9 Pre Sugo 31st March 2013
Had good great fun last night Dean kindly gave me a setup for the skyline hadn't done any practice and pretty much used qual as practice with the setup.
Race 1 started shocking got swamped but the straight line speed and drive from fresh tyres climbing the hill the first few laps enabled me to drive past a few cars and slot in behind chris and dean. Got past dean and then chris and was cruising along with a little gap back to chris and dean. But run a fraction wide heading into the last corner and off on to the grass which cost me a heap of time and a couple of places. Got back in touch with dean and had a good battle both making mistakes here and there giving the other the place. Dean eventually go the better of me and came home in 5th I think.
Race 2 Not sure what happen but both dean and I struggled cars running same setup as race one but they were completely different to drive. Maybe due to bad starts by both of us we pushed too hard to early and damaged tyres not sure. I made too many mistakes and finished the race having a bit of fun DV8

Re: Round 9 Pre Sugo 31st March 2013
In race 1 I had a reasonable run until front left started to go to hell. In race 2 I experimented with hard rear tyres and I was a little bit quicker but I had a spin early and then smashed into one of the Sierras that spun in front of me. Had a few good battles with Billy and Benny.

Downloaded TCl, Addons, 635 fix and skins, installed in that order and still get mismatch on server, ideas?? Using ATCC87 635
I did have a version of TCl 1.1 I think installed before, but deleted vehicles and rfm, should I delete other files or just do another rflite install?

Re: Round 9 Pre Sugo 31st March 2013
We aren't using the 625 in this league. That would probably be the cause of the mismatch. The competitive cars are the Skyline and Sierra in Group 1, and the M3 in Group 2 - however each are competitive at the various tracks.sulley43 wrote:Downloaded TCl, Addons, 635 fix and skins, installed in that order and still get mismatch on server, ideas??
