Porsche Carrera Cup - 2014 Summer Series

Ausfactor promotions is proud to present the 2014 Porsche Carrera Cup – Summer Series.
The series will race on Sunday nights commence January 12th 2014, and will consist of 6 rounds.

Round 1: Diablo Hills V3 (January 12th 2014)
Round 2: Montreal 2011 (January 19th 2014)
Round 3: Autodrom Most (February 2 2014)
Round 4: Fuji Speedway 1993 (February 9th 2014)
Round 5: Circuit Thermalito (Full) (February 16th 2014)
Round 6: Magny Cours (February 23rd 2014)

Race Format
Qualifying: 10 Minutes 6:30pm (QLD), 7:30pm (NSW, VIC) and 7:00pm (SA)
Racing: 3 x 15 lap races
Starting order for race 1 is based on the results of qualifying.
Starting order for race 2 is a reverse grid based on the finishing results of race 1.
Starting order for race 3 is based on combined results of race 1 and race 2.

Server Time: 3:30pm

Handicaps
Weights start at 160kg’s for the pole qualifying time and if you’re within 0.2 seconds of the pole time. The weights will then drop 20kgs for every 0.2 away from pole, down to a minimum of 60kgs.

For example, if the pole time was 1:32.0.
1:32.0 to 1:32.2 will carry 160kgs
1:32.3 to 1:32.4 will carry 140kgs
1:32.5 to 1:32.6 will carry 120kgs
1:32.7 to 1:32.8 will carry 100kgs
1:32.9 to 1:33:0 will carry 80kgs
1:33.1 to 1:33.2 will carry 60kgs
1:33.3 + will carry no weight.
Points will be deducted from the race if driver finishes in the top 5 and breaks their qualifying time. Drivers can ask for additional weight prior to race 1.

Points System
First: 35 points
Second: 33 points
Third: 31 points (then subtract 1 point for every position behind 3rd i.e. 4th-30 points, 5th-29 point etc.)
Bonus 2 points for Pole Qualifying time.
