GT3 Round 2 - Norisring 2008 (30th March)

Qualifying
Qual starts at 7.30pm TTR time. This will be a 10 minute session.
You can do as many laps as you want.

Race 1
Race 1 is a 15 minute sprint race
Fuel is set to 2x and tyres at 3x
Damage is set to 50%

Race 2
Race 2 is a longer 30 minute stint. There is one compulsory pit stop in this round.
Pit lane will only be open on lap 4.
The grid will be taken from the finish positions from race 1

numerous lines you can take into the hairpin braking areas so should be some carnage

Good racing guys! We had 21 cars for both races. Well done to those that finished. I'm hoping to have the points up this week.

was good racing! had a few hicups out in the lead stumbling across spinning porsches and the like. ended up losing the front splitter in one of the spinners but it made the car faster on the straights which was handy. lost out having to add fuel which was a shame.

Had a pretty average night considering I had reasonable pace, made a few mistakes in Race 1, and crippled my car by t-boning the spun NuttyBolts. I was running around nicely in Race 2, got turned around at the hairpin, then put in way too much fuel at the stop, my inlap-stop-outlap totalled over 3 mins where Iceman did his in 1 min 50 sec. Finished 2 laps down, but was probably good enough for 5th or 6th I think. I really enjoyed the track though, great fun racing against a huge field!

Thank growler for a good nights racing. Sorry to the people that I got in the way dident have the back wing set right so I would spin out.
