Rfactor 2

Rfactor 2 has been out for quite a while now I know a few of us have had a bit of a play with

I'm going to setup a Server (home based) so we can have ago online and see what it has to offer us.

I was thinking the megane's might be worth a play so I put a server up with that mod on it but open to suggestions of what you would like setup on the server.

Please let me know if you can't get on the server as I'm still learning how to set rfactor 2 ones up

Yep they are but had beacause of a hole heap of updates the patches to make the all tracks don't seem to be working at the moment.

I can finally run it on 3 screens 5700x1080 WOOT

After being disappointed with the initial beta and 3 subsequent updates, Ive recently revisited Rfactor 2 after the build 125 update. Lime Rock Park and Skip Barber update are excellent and It is of my opinion that the beta of Rfactor 2 has now surpassed the quality of the original game. Maybe if you have taken a break from Rfactor 2 it would be time to give it another shot. Things are definitely looking up.

I'm keen as to give it a go multi over the xmas break if anyone else is maybe on one of the regular race nights while nothing is running ?????????

Can some one chuck some links up and I'll set the server up I'm happy to have a run with it too

Server is up and running guys

Rf2 has an update function under the wait for it "Update" tab LOL seems to work pretty well as I was still at build 107

Im going mental cant get skip mod to damm show up in the mod manager

on another note FVR have released a beta of V8 SuperCars 2012 there is a server up but no luck trying to find the DL anyone friendly enough with FVR to get our hands on a copy for testing ?

also guys is working on the 2013 season as we speak but needs a modding groups help to finish apparently

Yes any news Did some laps the other day was having a bit of trouble getting this car around the track... need to dial in my settings still a bit better but love the track and rF2 the is sooo much detail in the level of grip as the car rides across the track very positive feel

I have set the Clio server up instead at the moment to have some practice on

I'm pretty keen to see this up and running soon as a test series but will be a bit of work setting it up for low numbers I'd be keen to see a show of hands on those that have it and those that are close to getting it b4 we dive in...

That a smilar spec to mine except the i7 is Sandy Bridge 3.2 and my card is GTX570 Overclocked edition...

I just looked at buying rF2. Are your guys paying the $12 a year or did you just pay for the lifetime pack? 

I'm leaning towards the lifetime version, considering rF is so old and its still played so much then paying a fee every year would end up costing more than buying outright. 

Thoughts?

Edit: Or would it be better to look at getting/waiting for other racing sim games that are coming out?
