Round 4: Bathurst (Round 2: Enduro Cup)

2014 V8 SUPERCAR CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES.
Round 3: Bathurst.
Round 2 of the Enduro Cup.

Format on the night:
Qualify: kicks off at 7:30 for 15 min, open session
Warmup: 10 min
Race 1: 45 Laps
No compulsory pit stops
Settings:
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel use : Normal
Damage: 75%
There will be "No Restarts", Unless someone drops out when we go to race.
If you come off, just get back on as everyone will most likely have a bad race at some stage.
Redress rules apply as normal.
Points system will be the same use in the real life V8 series.

Great fun last night guys and a pretty good turn out 
Qualified mid pack somewhere, in the race I decided to take it pretty easy at the start until I found some sort of rhythm.
Got to about a 3rd way through the fuel and started to think I may be able to make it to lap 23 with it.
I got to about lap 20 or so and the tyres were absolutely shagged lol.
Made it to lap 23 and on the way into the pits the right front blew !
Came out in 5th, but as I didn't have to pit again one by one everyone pit in front, ended up in 2nd with OR~krazymark well ahead and OR~disco364 about 14 secs behind.
OR~disco364's tyres were about 8 laps younger then mine, so as the laps went on he was slightly getting that gap down and I was trying my hardest to keep the gap.
Again once the tyres got to about lap 19, it was like I was on ICE, lol.
With about a lap & half to go disco finally got me, well done, great drive
Although the one stop strategy didn't really work, it was good to do something different to everyone else and made an exciting finish.
Well done to krazymark for the win & bad luck to floydie and fez who dropped connection
