Good racing tonight, although everyone was pretty quiet tonight, especially on TS. Maybe it was because we had low numbers tonight.

Re: TCL 2.5 Litre Trans Tasman Challange - Round 7 (16th November)
Yeah great night guys
Whacked it on poll in qually, I think that was my first in this series ?
Race 1, got off to a great start and lead the race the whole way just trying to manage the gap. Was like qually laps every lap !
Race 2, started 10th, got another great start, got to 3rd behind Felden and had a great dice with him and GroupCAction behind.
After a few laps GroupCAction found his way past, a lap of 2 later at the end of the back straight both GroupCAction & Felden both disappeared, lagged or glitched for a slit second, they appeared in front but both sideways out of control.
Not sure if I tagged GroupCAction when they disappeared or not ?
It looked all a bit messy anyway, not long after I found myself in the lead of the race.
Did a pit stop just over half way, decided to change the front tyres only, BIG MISTAKE !
Putting new tyres on the front completely upset the balance of the car, making the rear uncontrollable !
I did the same thing at Hampton downs, so I should have known
Anyway came out the pits in 3rd not far behind the leaders, but with a car that's out of control, I couldn't do a thing except hold onto 3rd place as I did.
Bring on next week !!
Hopefully we get some numbers again ?

Re: TCL 2.5 Litre Trans Tasman Challange - Round 7 (16th November)
I wasn't expecting to make it, so I did zero practice, didn't even have a set-up. Narrowly missed qually and spent the warm-up learning the track. I was much slower than everyone else, but still had fun.
I waved some front runners through going into the hairpin and then locked up and slid into them! Oh dear! I sat and waited for them to get going again and I hope I didn't change their order.
Didn't change tyres in the long race and put 35 litres in with 10 minutes to go. Surprised and happy to finish in the top 10.

Re: TCL 2.5 Litre Trans Tasman Challange - Round 7 (16th November)
Thanks for the racing again guys had a blast! As has been mentioned by others the numbers were low which was a shame, but the quality was still good none the less. I brought along my mate for his first ever sim race (rx7techo) he had a few issues, just usual learning stuff but had decent pace on his clean laps and had a good time. As for our coming together on lap 7, it was just a race incident. I tried to overtake 1st, the door was shut and I had to lift mid turn, groupC saw and moved offline to avoid me and then it just concertinad, you into group C him into me. Just 1 of those things. Bring on barbagello!
