TCL 2.5 Litre Trans Tasman Challange - Round 8 (23rd November)
Barbagello
Qualifying
Qual starts at 7.30pm TTR time. This will be a 10 minute session.
You can do as many laps as you want.
Race 1
Race 1 is a 15 minute sprint race
Race 2
Race 2 is a 40 minute race.
The grid for the second race will be made up from the finish place of the first race, however the top ten placings will be reversed.

I did more practice than usual, 35 laps the night before and Fez helped me tune my set-up, so I was closer to the front than usual, just 2.5s off pole, but still last... Anyway, I had fun and there were people to race with and I ended up 11th and 10th, just by staying out of the dreaded quick sand.
I'd like to apologise to anyone who got baulked in the first warm-up session. The kids have been practicing offline and really wanted to have a go online. I forgot they normally run full driver aids, so I didn't realise they were going to be that bad. I won't do that to you guys again.

No apology required. You gave us some warning, we need some youngsters coming through, so the only way to do that is to give them some experience.
Good job last night by the way, got a chance to race you for position and pushed my way through down into Kolb
