Weights updated:
Due to the small numbers this league I have reduced the weight penalties down to 30kgs for 1st, 20kgs for 2nd and 10kgs for 3rd.
And I probably won't run with the Joker card either.

I'm going to change cars as I chose the Corolla because I thought it would have a chance with the original weights.
So ill probably be driving the VL TWR Dunnydoor.
Hope that is OK ?

That's fine. With the original weights, and the low numbers you would have gotten weight added anyway.
With the bigger fields the weight comes into play more.

HI Craig & to TTR Racing.
Your very welcome to join in mate, just choose a car and turn up on the night.
I just tested the downloads and they seem to be working for me.

I think you may have to flush your DNS ?
I had this trouble with my PC a little while ago, I had to flush my DNS and also do something in network settings.
I had a lot of sites that wouldn't work until I did that.

Re: Round 4 - Lakeside (16th October)
There is a sound mod somewhere for these.
I would install the mod over a fresh install of rFactor.

Re: Round 4 - Lakeside (16th October)
Well I had fun, it was good to race on a track I know so well. I was doing consistent 58s and a few 57s and very happy with my times, but to be lapped by everyone makes me feel like I'm surrounded by aliens. LOL
Only downer for me was in Race 2, I murdered the LF tyre so came in for new fronts at half distance and got pinged for speeding, so had to drive through again next lap. That killed my chance of catching Nuty.

Re: Round 4 - Lakeside (16th October)
What compound rubber did you run mate? I was on VHard Front / Hard Rear and had no real issues.
The whole field was going pretty well, it was anyones race really. I was happy to jag a win in R2 though as it's been a while. Certainly one of the more challenging tracks, keeping four wheels on the black stuff was pretty important.
I really enjoyed my race with Corty, eventually wore him down when the Commo's tyres turned to mush Fez and Stevo were unlucky, had nothing for them really until their issues. Rookie and SMT were pretty quick early on too. DV8 was always a threat too as he makes very few errors, so I had to be pretty accurate in the end. I was driving on the fuel gauge towards the end and was short shifting everywhere but still maintaining reasonable lap times, so was pretty happy with that.
No doubt a slab of lead is coming my way so we'll see how the Sierra goes with a bunch of weight in it next week....

Re: Round 4 - Lakeside (16th October)
I ran softs all round, as I usually do, I normally don't have much wear, but I guess this is a consequence of the low speed understeer I couldn't dial out.
I went in heavily going under the bridge on the first lap of Race 2 and I guess that didn't help, car felt pretty ragged after that, but was still doing the times.

Re: Round 4 - Lakeside (16th October)
Having a ball in the few races i can do. Had a legit 1 stop strategy for the big one but rookie error was having damage repair on when pitting. Cost me 21 secs
had fund running doorhandle to doorhandle for half a lap with someone at one stage! See you this week!
