Saturday New NZ Tracks Fun Night

Will try to make it, what track config are we running for Silver Fern Raceway mate?
AC = Anti clockwise.
CW = Clockwise.

NC = No Chicane.
CC = Chicane.
CCC = Triple Chicane

I think I put it as ac 3x chicanes If there is better config please let me know as I haven't had a run yet

Moo i think what the guys are talking about is the configoration of the track layout to be used on sat.
the track has many different layouts.

Yep were discussing the track layout. I wouldn't think we have to run the ttr config patch as they are non v8 supercars track but will check tonight.

With the tyres i did put up on sprints but should we run the one set rule as we will be in our rounds of the v8 supercars championship. And if so should it be one set for the night over the four races or one set per track

ok guys i discovered a promblem when i try to go to load track it just will not open sliverern park.mas...../.

all fixed i put in the nz icons folder!!!

Had a good run at kiwi park such a great a track. Very tight and twisty at times and then long fast horse shoe to come onto the main is a lot harder than it looks, has a bump right as your getting onto full throttle which if not carefull heats the back tyres up really quickly. I managed to dial in what I think is well balanced setup between the slow corners and the fast stuff but time will tell. I don't think you'll find anyone being able to keep up with sprint tyres if there on controls had a 3 sec difference

Only had a small run at the second track but car felt good there.


Looking foward to tonight kiwi park really suited my style in these cars

the last race was amazing fun....

Got whiplash when Kris nailed me up the bum and finished the race in my smokey Ford Focus hatch.

Good to have a fun night were results don't really matter........................

One of the best nights i have had in a long time. Thats what it is all about FUN FUN FUN. Had a blast racing against all of you tonight but the best race was the last race of the night, whenever someone had a moment we waited for each other & spent corner after corner side by side, epic battle with Webber. Kris & myself tried to go side by side a couple of time through the chicane swapped some paint but couldn't believe we actually made it through.

I didn't have the balls to try side by side into the chicane... I'mma grab some popcorn and check the replay of that one

Qual pretty well stuck it third on the grid would have been 4th if JD had of qualified

Race one Controls
Usual for me good start but not aggresive enough into turn one and got swamped. On the exit found Kris had got into the back of Kiwi and I had no where to go and ran straight into the back of him sorry mate. By the time 3 of us going we were miles back and as I didn't have names displays up started thinking I was following JD not Kris (same Car) you were flying mate I wouldn't have got through and you weren't holding me up at all until you made a mistake at turn one letting me though. Got through on kiwi a lap or so later.
My setup was working great and Im coming to grips with the enduros now actually really enjoy them, I was slowly closing in on JD until I went a bit hard into one and run off the track lost four seconds. Was pretty happy looking like finishing fourth after coming from the back of the grid. Suddenly the time to JD was dropping quickly and watched the gap close in everytime we went through the faster corners not sure if you had a tyre issue or were waiting for me to have a dice. Jd let me though and there was no way I was surrendering it back and managed to pull away a little on the last lap for a third place.

Race 2 Sprints WOW Grips back
Started strong staight past shano and followed Webber into turn one with shano holding up the rest of the field on controls webber and I made a great break. I was following Webber comfortablly looking after tyres Im sure he was doing the same. 3rd lap into turn one caught the inside of the wall and spun had to wait for cars to come past to reverse out back of field again Got going and found Webber looked like he had waited for JD and myself and it was on then till the end. I was pushing as Hard as I could, I was able to follow you guys but not ever get close enough to make a move or pressure you. Had a ball anytime I can go close to running with JD and Webber for the night which I could in both Controls and Sprints you have to be happy.

Looking forward to Winton although I know I won't be able to keep up with you guys there but going to have fun trying

No problem on the hit Kris @ Silverfern.... all good fun.... tried my smokescreen but that ran out of puff after a lap or two...

I haven't looked at the replay for the 1st corner incidents race 1 @ Kiwi Park... but not sure if Kris or Benny hit me at all.... I was sort of wondering why you guys had waited for me.....

2nd race at Kiwi Park, got caught up again at turn 1 .... then went up the inside of Dano a few corners on.... i then bounced off the wall and damaged the front.... retired to watch the JD / Webber battle unfold.... got just as much enjoyment watching these guys go at it , than racing myself......

i think at kiwi park i hit you kiwi then benny hit me, chain reaction my bad.
