Hey mate need to purchase a car out of the league version as if you only have the f1 1979 version and haven't purchased the league version car it goes in with the standard one and gets a error

Re: Pre Kyalami
We were questioning whether we were actually running the league edition last night as the cars aren't even on purpose.
But It definitely is the league edition.
From the rfc page
It doesn't mention the cars being equal. so sorry for saying they were previously.
Having different performance cars keeps it interesting even if we end up with many of the same cars.
The format hasn't been mentioned or discussed yet.
I was thinking the format should be 2 x 20 minute races.
Any objections to that?
But It definitely is the league edition.
From the rfc page
-- Introduces the LEAGUE EDITION, along with the previous HISTORICAL and UNRESTRICTED versions of the mod. The LEAGUE EDITION
aims to provide better functionality for leagues, having every car model working independently within each team bracket,
so that is no longer necessary to go through the upgrade and skins menus to pick a different chassis. The LEAGUE EDITION also
allows for more variety in offline races, as the AI can run all the models and their variations in any given race.

I registered the other day and just went and selected a car, but someone else already has the same car. Are we allowed to double up or do i need to pick something else?

Re: Pre Kyalami
What's the problem Kris and Benny?
I run a fair amount of wing like 8 front 14 rear I think. It maybe just a matter of getting used to the track. It's easy to spin, but I've done about a million laps at kyalami in rfactor and grand prix legends so I know my way around there now.
That race was wicked fun.

Ahh that's the current version of Kyalami. Once they fell off the f1 calendar the first time they decided to rip up the track and then rebuild it. Idiots in my opinion.

Re: Pre Kyalami
I did a 1.10.500 lap in the williams but my setup was not a stable setup ive done a best of 1.11.300 in the Ferrari which i think i will use on Tuesday because im more consistent with it.
Loving turn one and two hanging the back out then catching it again... this track is really fun.
BTW i tried to register on the new points page but my password isnt working when i try to log in even though i requested a new one and tryed to use it. Also my player name and car are now showing in the list!!!

OK Nevermind...the username is case sensitive
Also, i prefer driving with no traction control but this makes it near impossible to get off the line at the start of the race. Do you know in Rfactor if it is possible to switch traction control off during the race?

Re: Pre Kyalami
I was testing the Wolf at Kyalami amd really enjoyed it, the default set-up was pretty safe & stable(with a super cautious driver mind you).
Sadly, I'm going to have miss Round 1, I"ll be at a CAMS State Council meeting. Shame, this is a track i know & like. But, I'll be back for Round 2, which is on a track I've never seen before..................

F8 should toggle through the available TC levels.

Re: Pre Kyalami
Well the just got a call from lotus and due to the repair costs of my first two practice sessions they have had to let me go. Luckly ferrari have so much money they were happy to let me drive one of there far more fogiving cars.
Taking on board I had just been sacked from lotus took it a bit easier Tonight and managed to get down to 1m11.213 and with consistent pace in the 12's
Actually looking forward to tomorrow night which I don't think I have ever said about a open wheel mod in the past
