Racer69's Meredes cup 9/10/2011

Hey all,

As Wally says above, i'll be having a go at running the server on Sunday night, for the second week of our 'mid-season break', with the 1988 ATCC continuing on from October 16.


This week we'll be using the Mercedes Cup cars, in three races at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

The real 1984 Mercedes Cup was run as an opening to the new Nurburgring, but as we used that track last season, and we haven't used Brands on a Sunday night as yet, i think it will be a good circuit to produce some close racing between us all.

Format will be the same as last week;

2x 10min races
1x 20min race


It should be a nice relaxing end to what i'm sure will be a long day for most of us this Sunday

Got a 51.1 after some practice today.

Yeah would be a good round to wheel out my trusty old Gibson motorsport, godzilla powered merc that's been sitting in the shed since Fuji, I think it was.

Shame I'm a nuffer at brands and i still can't race... I'll be there in spirit though, cheering for everyone except old mate wobbz lol.

I grabbed the #12 Ludwig car, i dont think anyone is gonna fight me for it.

I doubt it matters. Up to Racer really, its his race.

LOL, I picked that car too! Black looks heaps better than grey and i'm more into Bathurst & Group A Touring cars than F1, so i figured that was the car for me and nobody else would pick it too.

Definitely the #10 Jones machine for me.

They all pretty much look the same so it doesn't really matter, but perhaps for differentiality we should pick different cars, just post your choice up on here
