A nice little track, takes a few laps to get your bearings and get used to where the track goes, but should provide some good racing

practise meeting tonight(thursday)

7.30qld 8.30nsw/vic 30 mins practise
then 20 minute race

HIGHLY recommended for those with weight ballasts and the setup of the car is affected by this and you won't get the most out of it if you haven't done a setup with weight applied!!

Went to the gym on the way home from work and traffic was shit, logged in two minutes late. Grrrr!!!! Got onto Wally on T/S, he polled the runners and they agreed to restart, so I could join in! How awesome is that? What a top bunch of blokes. Huge thanks, much appreciated.

Interesting praccy race last night. Wally randomly gridded everyone, and i was randomly gridded last lol

Note for Sunday, I couldn't see any lights on this track either, so make sure you've got your lcd screen selected or whatever.

Shame I can't make Sunday, this track should provide some close racing.

I have to say, even though it was me who thought of this series, that some of the tracks haven't been up to scratch regarding starting lights etc. I apologize for this and are really looking forward to adelaide the following week.

Some other ideas we can do here on Sundays is Carrerra cup, either from australia or basically anywhere in the world.
pcc 2005 and 2007 are both excellant mods and the only two reasons i would personally pick 2005 over 2007 are that 2005 mod is a little slower and more correct to the right lap times and the fact we mainly do historic type stuff on sundays.
so there's one possibilty outside of tcl we could do for a break.

There are other mods that are great for close racing like skoda octovia, beetle race and a couple of other single mods that provide close racing. another that is more popular by australian stands that provides excellant close racing is something we tried in a mini series...ye olde v8's using bathurst legends69..i wouldnt mind a full series of these.

TCL is fun and a fantastic mod but i think after DTM87 maybe we could look at something different just to break it up a little. Maybe using tracks we know work well and are top of the class and fun to race on. maybe following some pcc here or as mentioned above from around the world somewhere or aussie masters using bathurst69...

anyhow i apologize again for some of the tracks not being up to 100% quality.. just something that happens when we try to recreate a real series that something not be up to scratch

The guys who made this track made it with a person dropping the green flag to start the race rather than starting lights (as the track apparently never had them).

On lower graphic settings though the flagman may not be visible?

Kidding, um. Welcome back. Smile

The mod downloads are here bro:

Not sure what cars are left. 635s, a Mustang and a few M3's? Maybe even a 190E.

Dan_gtsx!!!!!! Another bloody quick driver, and he'll have no weight penalty... Will make it interesting! I highly recommend the M3 mate.

Wally, you are being waaaaaaaaay too harsh on yourself. The series is fantastic, we can get over any track issues.
