Pre Series Testing

A Server Is Up For Pre Season Testing.

At the moment only Walkins glen is up will put the other tracks up soon..

Put this up as a general place to talk about times, thought's and any issues related to the Mod/Track's for the series.

These cars are nuts I must say,, Im not quick and I was down in the high 2:03's at Bathurst.. Crazy !! Benny was correct the Night to day effect is amazing.

Ive Been having some thought's on the format of the series and wanted to get some feedback on this amendment. I just think there are a few people that cant allways make it to race 1 so I was not giving everyone a chance to race... and a mini enduro everyweek is pretty hard to practice for...
please any feedback would be great, I'm only relatively new to this and I would like to cater for as may as possible.. Not that you can please everyone all the time... But these cars are too much fun to miss out

How do they go with 4 x tyre wear?

Testing so far @ the Glen,
Soft Penzoll - 100lrt tank Total - Used 50ltrs - 8laps completed - 6.0/lap - 31min for full tank -
Tire ware all 4 on yellow 1/2 dots missing 72% - My adv lap time 1:46.500.

It looks to me at the Glen at least that a 20min race is doable on fuel and on S-Softs, 40min race would def need a stop for fuel and tires, I started to test the hard and med tire's and I think there is not a huge loss in lap times there is abit but what I found interesting was a save in Fuel consuption 5.8/lap Med & 5.7/lap Hard for an adv loss off around .300 per lap between Softs and Hards. I did find the car performed better on with a little extra rear wing when running the Hard's.
