it has come to attention this arvo the turn one chicane is an area to make up a lot of time and with the championship so close all the way through to 6 or 7 I will be policing this turn carefully. the rules will be standard racing rules 2 wheels on the track at all times.

If anyone would like to discuss it further post away even suggestions for policing it would be helpful as it might be a bit tough to watch 500 + laps.

Ok the offical ruling of the T1 chicane will be as follows..

Cars on track will not be allowed to use the pit exit as a driving line, 2 wheels must be on the track, also the middle part of that turn on the right hand side there is a tire bundle that is a ghost, cars going through the tire bundle too many times will be penalised.

there will be some amount of easing of the rule on the first lap however cars see delibratly running through the corner to gain position will be penalized.

I will review the entire race from that corner only and no other incodent will be reveiwed or penalized other than the corner cutting..

penalties will be given in the form of championship points deductions after 2 seperate incodent's up to a maximum amount after which the re offending driver/car will be DQ. any offending drivers will have the opportunity to reveiw that replay themselves and place an appeal if nessasary.

With the championship so close I had to make a ruling and with limited feedback this was what I thought was best for this series It may or may not sound harsh but I wanted to make it as clear as possible and give everyone plenty of time to understand.

A, B & C are Legal. D & E will be illegal.
