Oran park - Round 4

Looks like the Capri brigade is looking after the podium along with GroupC.

Oran Park, one of those tracks like Eastern Creek that I've never been able to figure out. Time will tell!

Hmmmm looking at that corner onto the main straight, might be another difficult race for the Capri, I better get on and do some laps I guess

Damn thats a bumpy track, also a bit of a hurry up and wait track for me in the Capri, I think passing shall be difficult in the race.

This just in, mozza isn't running tonight cause he is scared I'm going to rip him and his 320 a new one in the Capri.....

How did your night go?

I quite enjoyed Oran park apart from the curb that sent me spearing off the track a couple of times.
I never managed to get below 1.06 in practice, but found a few laps in to race 1 I was doing mid 1.05s.
I was quite happy with that and found I was running up in 3rd,4th and 5th for a bit.

Looking at the points a certain newbie has taken over the lead by 1 point. Well done fathead!

There are a couple of people running that aren't registered in SLS. Please register if you'd like to receive points.



Sandown next week. A good chance to get a bit of track familiarisation done before The Sandown enduro.

Lowlights were flying off into the sandtrap at start of race 2 and taking ages to get back on to the track, half spinning mozza while we were monstering shano and about to make him throw it off the track lol, also causing (I think) a big pile up in the first corner of first race, I thought I had come in there easy enough but obviously not, sorry guys!

Highlights of the night for me were, shano taking his porker for a flying lesson off a curb into the wall in the first race, grpC poofing into thin air from right in front of me (sucked for him though), going side by side with David I think it was through the kink of the front straight into the hairpin in race 2, and battle with mozza and shano in race 3 after I ran it wide in turn 1 and threw away 2nd. I gave mozza a couple love taps in right hander under bridge in the ensuing battle, 1st one I got a run up the outside into the corner and tried to cross him over onto the next short straight but either he slowed down more than I thought he would in the middle of the corner or I was a bit too early on the gas, 2nd tap I don't really know what happened, I got mad lag on the straight up to the same corner and mozza disappeared then reappeared on top of me but then I nudged him coming through the corner, was a shame, I think we could have both jumped shano.
