First Run Saturday 23/3/13
After three weeks going flat out every night plus all weekends on the car have it ready for it's first run Tomorrow Saturday the 23/3/13 at Bryant Park Hill Climb. Won't be expecting and good results as it is really a shakedown fine out what comes loose what we missed etc.
The Car is a R33 GTS-T Manual the RB25DET is currently pretty stock other than running it up to 11psi which is the max they recommend while still running the ceramic wheel and Larger front mount Intercooler. Car has been Stripped out and Installed with a National Rally Spec full Cage which will enable me to log book the vehicle either under Rally or Improved Production (yet to Decide which one yet)
If I have Responded to anyone over the past few weeks properly or what seemed a rushed response Sorry about that but you can see why now
Here are some pictures at different stages of the build. Will Add more pictures Tomorrow Haven't got any of the finished car yet

Re: First Run Saturday 23/3/13
Took the Car out for it's first run mainly used the day as shake down Hoping nothing would fall off which it didn't enabling the two of us to push a little later in the day once we had confidence in the car was going to hold together.
The car felt really good from word go had great turn in and front grip rear was pretty loose as we had decided before the event not to chuck new tyres at it mainly due to running out of time and we had planed to take easy and make sure everything was good.
As the day went on the rear grip was becoming an issue was pretty much getting wheelspin all the way through third gear. Started playing with the tyre pressures which helped quite a bit each run a little lower till crossed the line of loosing time at which point went back to previous setting. With the increase rear grip front was now pushing badly through the hair pins same again on the front and for the last four or or 5 runs had it to a point where it was 4.5 seconds quicker than earlier in the day. On what turned out to be the last run Decided to drop the boost back to standard and really try and get some drive out of the corners. I didn't take advantage of it as much as I could of as I was still trying to feel where the wheel spin would kick in or not but still completed our quickest lap of the day. If I had been able to get another run in I estimated would have been about another 1.5 seconds quicker with the less boost.
Really enjoyed myself wasn't quickest by a long way I think about 11 or 12th out of the 30 drivers but we stayed to our plan of making sure the car was safe learn what helps what doesn't and mainly bring the car home straight with no damage which we did.
poor Corolla had seen better days. This car probably would have one the day but did this prior to the first timed runs
Here is a link to all the photos for the day
