Tells me I have an RFM mismatch??

im getting the same mismatch, but only online...offline track works fine

Chrisrx and myself don't have any issues joining the server. I downloaded from the link above.

I downloaded from the same link but get the same RFM mismatch, offline is ok?

It's Mercedes and Alfa track here I reckon! DV8, Patto and Roadrat for the podium!

I can get only a couple of quickish laps out of the Volvo, then grip levels start going away, I tried some race runs last night but my pace isn't great..... Should make for some great variety in the results this Sunday!!

Make sure the folders are right

I have tried every combination I can think of for putting the folders in. Please give me the sequence you used and I will try that.

wouldnt the folders be right if you can use the track offline? its just online thats being the issue
ive tried diff versions of direct x n stuff too, always works offline, just never online

I just downloaded from the link above and Extracted it to my locations and it works.

I'm using a version that i d/l ages ago. will get rid of it and re d/l from ttr

In my locations folder I have Misano. In that folder I have another Misano folder and 2 MAS files. In the second Misano folder I have 9 files.
In my rfm folder I have, among other things, a TCL.rfm and a TCL2.rfm...If that all helps.

grunter67, Fez, DP - have you got any other Misano versions also in the game?

I have found in the past sometimes when i have different versions of the same track, it causes a mismatch when joining online (but works fine offline). This can be fixed by removing the similiar tracks that aren't being used online from the Locations folder, try joining and if it works, only put the other tracks back in after the nights racing is finished.

i also dont have any other versions of misano, i even emptied my locations folder out and just had misano in it and still would load up online

yea, mine works also, weird man, who put the wrong version up!!!

Someone must have updated it as I used the link and got ver 1.0

Nope...got me...

I had a different Misano and it worked fine offline. Then I removed it from the locations folder and d/l the link from here and all went fine.
