TOLEDO TOOLS AUSTRALIAN GT/SPORTS SEDAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Hey guys. A few of you have probably already seen this advertised at ORA, but for those that have not, come and have look. It is the TOLEDO TOOLS AUSTRALIAN GT/SPORTS SEDAN CHAMPIONSHIP. DRM Mod at some the more popular Australian Tracks. Starts later this week.

Just my kind of motorsport! I will be entering this.
Not sure what car to use at this point - either Celica or BMW 320

I'm registered on ORA and thinking about it.
But have you guys actually run these cars in a series with this setting before?
Mechanical Failures: Time scaled
Way back in the day we ran drm and accidentally left failures on normal or time scaled, can't remember which, but anyway everybody except me blew up way before the end, some even on the start line. That's how I won my first DRM race.
We turned them off after that race.

Thanks for the heads up dano. Not sure if we have done race testing or not yet, but this is the latest and greatest release from DRM and I have personal done at least a couple of full stints in prep for this race. I will pass your message on to the Race Admin for the series. Thanks.
Hope to see you there.

Yeah I wondered after I posted actually, that was the very original release of drm that we had those dramas with, maybe it's changed in the latest release.ORA-Ulee Deway wrote:Thanks for the heads up dano. Yeah - I chose the Toyota in the end because I have a resonable setup for it. I would have prefered the BMW 320 just to stick it to the Porsches on the tighter tracks!ORA-Ulee Deway wrote:I see you have already been to visit and get yourself signed up even. Great news. The little practise I did at Lakeside puts the Celica about a second quicker than the 320, but about 3 - 4 seconds off the pace of the Porsches.

I am a Porsche guy myself, although I may never be able to afford one, so any chance I get I will drive one. Good luck.

I just had a look and I don't see your name "aus_chrisx" as a registered member. If you are having issues still you can email us at ORAsimracing@gmail.com and I will be sure to make sure our Forum Master takes care of it for you.
We could use a few more cars on the starting grid!!!

The next round is Oran Park which I hate. I can never do a clean lap here whatever mod I choose.
Down to 1.04.8 so far.
