AVM 1965 Australian Grand Prix Revival - Longford Tasmania

Hey guys, I thought I would send an invite to the racers here to join us for our 2nd Pre-Season Special Event early next year. On Wednesday 22nd January we are having the 1965 Australian Grand Prix Revival at Longford, Tasmania. Would love to have some of you join us for this event

If you love the old grand prix legends back in the day then get in on this gents! the wednesday night racing for the lemans race was insane and the 65s at longford will be alot of fun "if you can stay out of the trees!"
make sure you register on their forum prior to the race and alot of the cars are being snapped up!

anyone else keen to join me on the 22nd, wednesday night at AVM racing the 65 f1 cars. a bit of testing has shown the outright pace is with the hondas and ferraris however they're fairly unreliable! the lotuses and coopers and brms seem okay but one zing of the engine and you're going to have a ticking time bomb on your hands.

if you havent raced at this amazing version of longford it's a must.

My uncle was in Longford last week and he had a look around the pub, they have a great collection of memorabilia. He also noticed a spare corner of the pub that he reckons would be perfect for a simulator, so punters could cut a few laps between drinks.

missed out on a classic guys with 21 starters and 8 finishers, alot of suspension failures and accidents with the scenery and other cars. Ended up 4th in McLaren's Cooper with a 1-2 for BRM and Bandinis Ferrari snagging 3rd for the podium. Racer did well to finish the race just behind me in a good showing of race craft to be able to finish the race.
