Round 3 - Winton - Jan 26th

sucks so bad i cant race at this one!! Winton was my 'home' track and i think i could do quite well here. Given my 4th and 2 7ths last week at a track i have never been on i would like to think i could at least replicate it.

I had a reasonable night at Winton, not quite the pace of Aus-Chris and Matt Campbell, but hung in there to jag a couple of podiums and a fifth place. Had a couple of excellent dices with Fez and DV8 also. Probably need to spend some time during the week on the setups, just haven't been able to devote the time to it lately.

i didnt really have the pace, just a bit of strategy after being spun around in the first race to capitalise on being up front while all the quicker guys were mixed with traffic for the next 2 races. shame you spun on the last corner CD or you would have had your first win!

Over all I had a shocker, besides race 2 where I made massive mistakes at the start of the race, but somehow got back to 4th by the end of the race ?
I only changed rear tyres and didnt over fill the tank which would have saved time in the pits.

There was a bit of biff and barge in this round, mainly because of the style track it is.
Winton is a hard place to pass and with these cars it magnifies it.
For this the desperation levels go up, lol which I think makes great racing.

But I have to draw the line somewhere, so ive added a penalty points section top the point table.
Sorry Matt C, you have a penalty due to taking Fez out which happened right in front of me on track
and you didnt redress, I did say on T.S to redress if you need to, but you carried on.
It was a 5 grid spot on the finish results. If you have any question just PM me.

If anyone causes a accident and takes out another driver, you must redress or a penalty will be applied.

But please before you do so, go back and watch the replays to make sure your facts are correct.
Sometimes if someone has taken "you" out, "they" may have also copped a hit from behind or something like that.
