GT3 Round 3 - Brno GP Circuit (6th April)

Please be aware that its the end of daylight savings this weekend so check the time differences.

Qualifying
Qual starts at 7.30pm TTR time. This will be a 10 minute session.
You can do as many laps as you want.

Race 1
Race 1 is a 15 minute sprint race
Fuel is set to 2x and tyres at 3x
Damage is set to 50%

Race 2
Race 2 is a longer 40 minute stint. (Note the longer race time).
There is no compulsory pit stop this round. Pit stops are free.
The grid will be taken from the finish positions from race 1

Couldnt find top pace here but was pretty happy with the race pace.

Race 1, was running 3rd before a spin on the last corner and went back to 10th or so, got back to 8th then there was a spin on last corner in front of me on last lap and couldnt avoid it. Ended up 8th.

Race 2, missed the jump with the lights and went back to 14th or so.
Got a few positions back, then Punk had a spin on turn 1 and was reversing for some reason ? I couldn't avoid him and BANG ! T-bone !
Wasn't enough to have to pit, but the the same thing happened later in the race with Stevo having a spin and also couldn't avoid him   

Had to pit after that to find I would have had a 3:20 pit stop ?
That was the end of my race   

The longer races seem to be more of a putt putt race to save fuel, so you dont need as much in the pits.
They must be filling the tank up with a cup or something ?
Takes over a second per litre ! lol.

Race one DNF got a good start but wasent consentrating and went off at turn 1 hit the wall and got a flat.

Race 2 was better started i think 17th or 18th i mist a lot of crashes and finished 10 happy with that.

got caught up in accos in both races with no where to go in race 1 and 2 anyway fought back from a lengthy stop so i could steer straight again in race 2 to snatch 5th on final lap. was happy with the fight back and getting a 1:59.5 in race trim.

I drove far too conservatively in Race 2, took on way too much fuel in the pit stop. I think I looped it also early in the race and that sort of stuffed me up a bit. I do remember just avoiding the spun car that took out Corty, I think we were both being too conservative and therefore got caught up in other peoples incidents. Had a ripping dice with Growler, we both exited the pits together and I gave him a workout right until the second last corner then I managed to slip down the inside when we caught some traffic. Bloody epic dice, really fun stuff. Two very even matched cars. Bring on Monza!!
