Ok this is how you can make sure when someone send's you a setup you don't loose it if you get disconnected or you simply quit the game and forget to save the setup. This will automatically keep the received setup forever until you delete it.
Navigate to your PLR folder and open it, scroll down the notepad to Game Options, scroll down a bit more until you find this line ( Keep Received Setups="3" // 0=do not accept, 1=keep until next track, 2=keep until exit, 3=keep forever ) & change the number to 3, close notepad and when it ask's to save changes click yes. Done that easy. It is approx 3 quarter's of the way down the notepad.
If you are not sure where to find the file here is an example using mine, C:\Program Files\v8 1.3\UserData\TTRJD
